Studies On Diversity Of Medicinal Plant Resource In Ziyuan County,Guangxi

Medicinal plants are very rich and the history of making use of medicinal plants are so long.The State Council general planed to conduct the fourth census of traditional medicine,aims at strengthening protection,research and exploitation for the traditional medicine resources.The census of traditional medicine resources would be conducted in Ziyuan County,Guiling City.This study focused on the investigation and analysis of medicinal plants.In order to fully know the medicinal plant resources in the species,number and distribution situation and provide the basisthe basic dates for the assessment of the national level of traditional Chinese medicine resources.We would discusse and analyze the rare and endangered medicinal plant resources and would put forward effective protection measures.This survey would provide some basis for the sustainable utilization of medicinal plants resources and industrialization of medicinal plants in Ziyuan County.Confirming the directory of medicinel plants by tidying to source datas about medicinel plants,surveying with line transect and quadrat sampling in different seasons,different phenological periods and different habitats.in Ziyuan County,Guangxi.We would interview survey for local medicine peasant and medicinal materials markets to learn about the situation and problems of developing and utilizing medicinal plants,including the species,market purchase quantity,pharmacodynamics and usage methods.To ensure the main distributive area of the plant resources according to the information of specimens,photographs,species GPS.The composition,medicinal parts and medicinal properties of medicinal plants resources were analogized.We would conduct a preliminary assessments for the rare and endangered medicinal plants in Ziyuan County.The measures for protection were put forward according to the distributive,reserves,habit and market requirement of medicinal plants resources.The ways would provided to sustainable development and utilization strategies.The research contents and results were listed as follows:1.Field investigations and data reference indiacated there ware 1367 species of medicinal plants in Ziyuan County,belonging to 217 families in 816 genera.It includes 125 species of medicinal fern in 9 families 15 genera,19 medicinal gymnosperm species in 9 families 15 genera,1223 medicinal angiosperm species in 171 families 730 genera.Otherwise,we found 1 news species and 3 news records in Guangxi,China.The investigations adds 487 medicinal plants compared with 892 species which the national 3rd CM plant resourses survey recorded.2.The statistical analysis of the large families and genera demonstrates that the phenomenon of preponderant families and genera are obvious.The medicinal plants are belong to 16 large families and 5 large genera in Ziyuan County.There are 532 species in 16 large families and 62 species in 5 large genera.We analysized to the medicinal properties,medicinal parts and efficacy of medicinal plants.The medicinal plants are mainly herb there are 717 species.The life forms of timber are 127 species that compared with other life forms including the fewest medicinal species.1203 wild species are most freguently used.Herba,root and rhizome are mainly medicinal parts as antipyretic drugs and blood activating and stasis removing drugs.Detoxification and swelling-removing drugs are relatively common daily life.3.There have been 97 species of medicinal plants recorded into the key investigation of the forth national general svrvey,belonging to 89 genera in 65 families.The survey recorded 46 species of rare and endangerd medicinal plants,belonging to 35 genera in 46 families.It includes 1 species of medicinal fern,4 species of gymnosper,41 species of medicinal angiosperm.3 species are the national frist-ranking I protection category,7 species are the national second-ranking I protection category,and 36 species are municipality level of protection category.According to the current situation of medicinal plants in Ziyuan County and the standard of red list of IUCN.We gave advice on protection category that list 34 species as protection plants in Ziyuan County.This 34 species are: Huperzia serrata,Selaginella pulvinata,Botrychium ternatum,Botrychium daucifolium,Ophioglossum reticulatum,Pyrrosia angustissima,Lepidogrammitis drymoglossoides,Kadsura coccinea,Epimedium hunanense,Epimedium sagittatum,Akebia trifoliate,Akebia trifoliata subsp.Australis,Sargentodoxa cuneate,Polygala fallax,Hemsleya dipterygia,Begonia fimbristipula,Eleutherococcus nodiflorus,Angelica decursiva,Peucedanum longshengense,Ardisia crenata,Cynanchum paniculatum,Uncaria rhynchophylla,Solidago decurrens,Lysimachia foenum-graecum,Platycodon grandifloras,Striga asiatica,Gomphostemma chinense,Aspidistra minutiflora,Cardiocrinum giganteum,Lilium speciosum var.gloriosoides,Chionographis chinensis,Lilium brownii var.viridulum,Paris polyphylla,Hypoxis aurea.
