Research On Specialized Apple Farmers' Adoption Behaviors Of IPM Technology

As an integrated technology with social,economic and ecological benefits,IPM technology is an important means and an effective way to ensure the safety of agricultural production.The No.1 document from the national central government pointed out that the problem of pesticide residues in China is serious.It is necessary to promote farmers to use drugs scientifically and rationally by standardized production,strengthen source management and improve the quality and safety of agricultural products comprehensively.As high-value agricultural product,apple has a high level of market-oriented and special investment characteristics.In order to reduce the internal and external risks,the demand of apple growers to adopt IPM technology is pressing.As the key of technology adoption,the new agricultural technology can only be transformed into productive force if it is recognized,understood and accepted in actual production.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to select empirical research on specialized farmers' adoption behaviors of IPM technology.This article explores the adoption behavior of IPM technology of Specialized apple farmers.Determining research methods and ideas by reviewing literature and combining research background in the first chapter;The second chapter elaborates the relevant theories and defines the main concepts such as specialized farmers,IPM technology,and clears the research objects;The third chapter conducts descriptive statistics on the survey data and analyzes the differences among personal endowments,family production characteristics,perception of technical environment,accessibility of technology,and planting income and specialized farmers' adoption behaviors of IPM technology by the crosstables;The fourth chapter carries out the empirical test by using the Double-Hurdle econometric model and analyzes the results;Expounding the main conclusions and putting forward the countermeasures and Suggestions in the chapter five.Based on the analysis results of the cross table and the Double-Hurdle model,the following conclusions are drawn: First,the adoption rate and adoption degree of IPM technology for Specialized farmers are low;Second,apple planting scale and degree of organization have a significant positive impact on the adoption decision and adoption degree;the perception of environment,IPM technical training,the government support and the efficiency of apple production in the past three years are the main factors that affect the adoption decision;Whether a party member or a village cadre and net profit are the main factors that influence the adoption degree.Based on these conclusions,we put forward policy recommendations that urge specialized farmers to adopt IPM technology and improve their adoption degree.(1)We should strengthen technical training and play a positive role in guiding farmers to adopt IPM technology;(2)We should continue to improve the land transfer system and promote apple's scale planting;(3)Relying on market forces to form price incentives to achieve effective diffusion of IPM technology;(4)The government can cooperate with enterprises to increase support for specialized farmers and reduce the cost of technology adoption;(5)The government guidance and punishment should be promoted and regularly check the use of pesticides so as to effectively restrain the farmers who adopt IPM technology irregularly.
