Millet seed yield was composed of number of panicles,number of spikelets,number of grains per spikelet,number of grains per spike,1000-grain weight,and grain weight per spike.These factors,which are intrinsically linked to each other,are constantly changing due to climate conditions and man-made measures,resulting in different yields.Starting from the biological characteristics,according to the automatic regulation of the population,study the quantitative relationship of these variable factors and find out the main factors that constitute the high yield of millet.Then,research can be conducted on aspects such as physiology,biochemistry,tissue anatomy,plant morphology,and agro-meteorology to promote the transformation of these factors in accordance with human intentions toward high yields.From then on,we will explore the laws and formulate cultivation measures.This will be of great significance in guiding high yields.According to the research of this laboratory over the years,combined with the high-yield experimental field and the variety comparison test conducted around the high-yield field technical measures,the following results have been obtained through the analysis and analysis:The main components of millet high-yield are grain number,grain weight and spikelet number,and the number of grains per ear plays a decisive role.The grain weight and spikelet number can be regarded as guarantee conditions.The goal of field management is "one plus two guarantees," which is to increase the number of grains per unit area,the grain code(spikelets)and grain weight(thousand grains)2.The conditions for increasing the number of grains per unit area are light-centered,adjusting the nitrogen level and grasping the critical period of moisture.The organic combination of the three makes the group structure develop steadily.The way to increase the number of aggregates per unit area is to increase the seed setting rate and increase the seed setting rate of the individual plants,that is,multi-spike multi-grain and large-spike multi-grain,both of which cannot be neglected3.To prevent millet "card neck drought" and lodging.The measures include timely irrigation or crop protection,promotion and control of leaf area dynamics,proper ridge closure,adjustment of carbon-nitrogen ratio,and coordinated growth of organs.Taking early sowing and using low temperature and drought to carry out seedlings and promote root development and thick stems are positive for preventing lodging.
