Jinghai Yellow Chicken is a new quality broiler with four characteristics of high quality, early maturity, resistance to disease and production more egg.It is of great significance to study the effects of different feeding methods on the slaughter performance, meat quality and blood biochemical indexes of Jinghai yellow chicken adult hens in order to better utilize and promote Jinghai yellow chicken. In this study,300 240-day-old Jinghai yellow hens were randomly divided into three groups:cage rearing, floor rearing and free-ranging,the density of cage rearing was 18/m2,the density of floor rearing was 12/m2,the density of free-ranging was 0.3/m2,100 chickens in each group were reared for two months. At the end of the experiment,25 chickens in each group were randomly selected to determine and analyze the slaughter performance, meat quality and blood biochemical indexes,to explore the difference in slaughter performance, meat quality and blood biochemical indexes of adult hens of jinghai yellow chicken in three breeding mode. The results showed that:1.Influence of different feeding methods on slaughter performanceCarcass weight and abdominal fat weight of cage group and floor group were higher than the free-ranging group(P<0.01);The chest muscle weight of free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than that of the cage group(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in live weight,half-eviscerating weight and total eviscerating weight(P>0.05).For liver weight, the floor group was extremely significant higher than the cage group(P<0.01)and significantly higherthan the free-ranging group(P<0.05).For the length of cecum, the free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than cage and floor rearing groups(P<0.01).Therefore,cage raising and floor raising can increase the weight of the slaughter, while the free-ranging can increase the rate of chest and leg muscles and reduce the rate of abdominal fat.2.Effects of different feeding methods on serum antioxidant indexs and anti-stress indexsFor serum antioxidant indexs,SOD and GSH-Px of cage rearing and free-ranging groups were extremely significant higher than the floor rearing group(P<0.01);CAT of floor rearing group was significantlyhigher than cage rearing group(P<0.05);T-AOC of floor rearing group was significant higher than free-ranging group(P<0.05);There was no significant difference in MDA between each groups(P>0.05).For CORT,the floor group was extremely significant higher than cage rearing and free-ranging groups(P<0.01),and free-ranging group significant higher than cage rearing group(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in CK between each groups(P>0.05).3.Effect of different feeding methods on meat qualityThe chest muscle 45 min pH value after the slaughter of the cage rearing group was significant higher than floor rearing group(P<0.05),the chest muscle 24h pH value after the slaughter of free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than cage rearing group(P<0.01);The two pH values after the slaughter of leg muscle of free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than cage rearing group(P<0.01).The meat color of chest and leg muscle of free-ranging group were higher than the other two groups(P<0.05);For shear force, the free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than the other two groups(P<0.01);For water loss rate, cage and floor rearing groups were higher than two free-ranging group, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).For moisture, the chest muscle of free-ranging and floor rearing groups were all significant higher than cage rearing group(P<0.05),and leg muscle of free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than the other two groups(P<0.01);For crude protein, the chest muscle of floor rearing group was significant higher than the other two groups(P<0.05),and leg muscle of free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than the other two groups(P<0.01);The crude fat of chest and leg muscle of cage and floor rearing groups were significant(P<0.05)or extremely significant(P<0.01)higher than the free-ranging group. The collagen of chest and leg muscle of cage rearing was extremely significantlyhigher than floor rearing and free-ranging groups(P<0.01).For amino acid, the content of valine, isoleucine and leucine three essential amino acids and histidine in the pectoral muscle of floor rearing group was significantly higher than that in the cage group(P<0.05),and there were no significant difference among the three groups of umami amino acids(P>0.05);The total DAA of chest muscle of free-ranging group was significantly higher than the other three groups(P<0.05);the total EAA of leg muscle of the free-ranging group was significantly higher than the other two groups(P<0.05);the total EAA of chest and leg muscle of the free-ranging group was higher than the other two groups. For chest muscle, the ATP and AMP of the free-ranging group was extremely significant(P<0.01)or significantly(P<0.05)higher than cage and floor rearing groups, the IMP of floor rearing and free-ranging group was significantly higher than cage group(P<0.05);For leg muscle, the total of ATP,ADP and AMP in the free-ranging group were higher than cage and floor rearing groups but there was no significant difference(P>0.05),the IMP of cage rearing was higher than free-ranging group and floor rearing group but there was no significant difference(P>0.05).Free-ranging is conducive to the enrichment of protein and flavor substances, while cage raising is conducive to the deposition of intramuscular fat and the improvement of chicken tenderness.4.Effect of different feeding methods on blood biochemical indicatorsFor ALT,the floor rearing group was significant higher than cage group(P<0.05);For AST,cage rearing group was extremely significant higher than floor rearing group(P<0.01)and significantly higher than free-ranging group(P<0.05);For ALP,cage group was extremely significant higher than the other two groups(P<0.01);For TP,floor rearing group was significant higher than cage group(P<0.05);For GLO,floor rearing group was extremely significant higher than cage rearing group(P<0.01);For GLU,cage rearing group was significantly higher than free-ranging group(P<0.05);For HDL,free-ranging group was significant higher than cage and floor groups(P<0.05);But there was no significant difference in LDH,ALB,BUN,CHO,TG,LDL,IgA,IgG and IgM among the three groups(P>0.05);For IL-1?,IL-6,TNF-? and IFN-? of floor group were extremely significant higher than the cage group(P<0.01);For IL-2,free-ranging group was extremely significant higher than the other two groups(P<0.01).Cage rearing and floor rearing are conducive to improving the nutritional level of the body, but floor rearing and free-range are conducive to improving the health of the body.
