Carposina sasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesta(Busck)are two kinds of the oriental fruit moth, which are harm seriously in the northern sections of China.Because they were all feeding on fruits in their larval stages, the quality of the fruits is reduced seriously, and preventions are difficult.Although there were reported on biology, ecology and prevention, the structure of digestive system developnent, reproductive development and classification of Carposina sasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesta(Busck)were rarely reported. We used microscopes, stereo microscopes and digital microscope system to study the morphology of the reproductive and digestive system of Carposinasasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesto(Busck). The major conclusions were as followed:1.We ensured that Carposina sasakii Matsmura was the pest that damaged seriously in northern China, and we suggested that stop using Carposina niponensis Walsingham as the scientific name.It should be used the name Grapholita molesta(Busck)accurately, and the name of Grapholitha molesta(Busck)should be stopped.2.The study on the morphology of reproductive system have shown that the ovarian development of Carposina sasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesta(Busck)could be divided into six stages:the initial phase, transparent phase, yolk deposition prophase, yolk deposition phase, egg maturation and oviposition phase, terminal phase of oviposition, and the gradind standards of the development of ovarian was proposed;the initial phase and the transparent phase appeared only in pupae;the mating behaviors were appeared in yolk deposition phase and egg maturation and oviposition phase in female adults;we observeted the survival time, daily ovarian development situations and the daily fecundity and we found that the average daily fecundity of Grapholita molesta(Busck)and Carposina sasakii Matsmura had significantly positive correlated with the percentages of them in egg maturation and oviposition phase.which could be used as a indicator to forecasting;there was significant difference in corpus bursa before and after mating both in Carposina sasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesta(Busck)before and after mating,we found it is significantly different of;The heavy muscular area of ductus ejaculatorius simplex of the male Grapholita molesta(Busck)was transparent after mating 6 hours. But there are parts of residues in heavy muscular area of ductus ejaculatorius simplex Carposina sasakii Matsmura; The differences of the morphological characteristics of Carposina sasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesta(Busck)before and after mating could be used to increasing the accuracy of the forecasting.3.The study on morphological of digestive system have shown that there was no significant difference morphological changes in digestive system during the larval stage in Carposina sasakii Matsmura and Grapholita molesta(Busck);Their was significant difference in digestive system between larvae and adults and the change occurred in pupal stage. At first, silk glands and gastric caecas disappeared in early pupal stage, crops began to develop in early pupal stage and completed the development in middle pupal stage, the rectal sac developed in hindgut in middle and late pupal stage.
