| In recent years,succulents have begun to enter the public life and became popular among people.Their application frequency in indoor landscape and outdoor landscape design is increasing.However,China’s succulent plant development started too late,resource development efforts are insufficient,cultivation methods to be improved,has not yet formed a large-scale operation.Therefore,it is of practical significance to study the industrial production of common succulent plant varieties in Jincheng,Shanxi.In this paper,as common succulent plant varieties in Jincheng,Graptoreria titubans,Sedum adolphi and Crassula pubescenswere selected as the research objects.Seven indexes,including survival rate,rooting rate,budding rate,root/bud number and average root/bud length,were selected to study the effects of different cutting substrates and hormone treatments at different times on their propagation and growth.The effects of different substrate p H and different substrate water content on leaf coloration were studied by selecting 3 indexes of leaf color value,chlorophyll content and anthocyanin content.To explore effective methods to promote the propagation and growth of succulent plants,improve the color of leaves and make them more ornamental value,so as to provide reference for the future industrial production and breeding of succulent plants in this region.The results are as follows.(1)The effects of different cutting substrates on the propagation and growth of the three kinds of succulents were significant different.The effect of the composite substrates was better than that of the single substratest.Among them,the greater the proportion of peat soil,the better the promoting effect on bud growth.The greater the proportion of river sand,the better the promoting effect on root growth.(2)Hormone IBA treatment can promote the reproduction and growth of 3 succulent plants.The effects of hormone treatment at different times were different,and the promoting effects were the best in90 s and 120 s.The treatment times were too long,such as 240 s and 480 s,which inhibited the growth,reproduction,rooting and germination of the hormones.(3)When the p H value of the matrix was between 4.75 and 9.51 and the moisture content wasbetween 35% and 75%,the leaves of the three succulents were full,bright,and the growth status was good.Both strong acid and strong alkali and severe water logging(the matrix moisture content reaches about90%)are unfavorable to the growth and reproduction of succulents.(4)The effect of different matrix p H and different matrix moisture content on 3succulents varied with stress time,which was related to plant varieties.Leaf color alpha value and anthocyanin content increased with stress time.Chlorophyll content decreased with stress time.At the same time,the change trend of 0 to15 d is relatively gentle and the change trend of 15 d to 25 d was relatively rapid,such as Sedum adolphi and Crassula pubescens.(5)Crassula pubescens were most sensitive to different substrate p H and different substrate moisture content.Under P2,P9 and W2 treatment,leaf color alpha value and anthocyanin content were significantly lower than the control lever.Sedum adolphi was the next most sensitive.Under the three treatments,only the edges of the leaves reddened.And the Graptoreria titubans was the most insensitiveness,performance for the leaf color becomes pale dim. |
