| In order to clarify the effects of the three fermented feeds replacing cardamom, corn and sub-powder(or bran)on the pellet production and the productive performance of fattening pigs, the effects of fermented feed and emulsifier on granulating parameters and water retention capacity of pellet feed and the effects of fermented feed on the productive performance of fattening pigs were studied in this paper. The research on the effects of fermented feed and emulsifier on granulating parameters and water retention capacity of pellet feed was carried out using fermented feed provided by Xiangchi Feed Company. After replacing the cardamom, corn and sub-powder in the feed formula with 5% fermented feed-A,fermented feed-B and fermented feed-C,respectively,the pellet feeds were made up of different compression ratios(8.5,10.5,14 and 18)and different fermented feeds. Then the process parameters and quality parameters of pellet feed were measured separately, and the effects on granulating parameters and water retention capacity of pellet feed were studied. The results showed that different compression ratios could change the moisture content of pellet feed. The water retention capacity of pellet feed was best when the compression ratio was 8.5.Different fermented feeds could change the moisture content of pellet feed, and the water retention capacity of pellet feed made from fermented Bran was the best. The study on the effects of fermented feed on the productive performance of fattening pigs was designed by single factor experiment.200 pigs of the same batch in end-of-life(about 70d)were selected and randomly divided into 4 processes, each process repeated 4times,and each repeat used 10 pigs.Process 1 was the control group with reference to the commercial feed supply;Process 2-4 was the experimental groups, and the cardamom, corn and sub-powder in the feed formula were replaced by 5% fermented feed-A,fermented feedB and fermented feed-C,respectively.The experiment was divided into two stages(30-60kg;and 60kg-out),and the rectal fecal sample is taken to measure microorganism before each feeding. The results indicated that: The use of three fermented feeds did not change the daily gain, daily feed intake and feed-to-weight ratio of 30-60 kg fattening pigs(P > 0.05),but significantly increased the daily gain of 60-90 kg pigs(P= 0.049),reduced feed-to-weightratio for the full period(30-90 kg)(P= 0.035).Compared with the control group, feeding the fermented feed A-cardamom replacing the diet did not change the microbial count of feces in fattening pigs(P> 0.05).Feeding fermented feed B-corn and fermented feed C-bran/subpowder replacing diet reduced the number of fecal E.coli at 6 weeks of feeding(P < 0.05),and increased the total number of lactic acid bacteria at 6 and 12 weeks of feeding(P< 0.05).Cardamom replacing diet can improve feed intake, while corn and sub-powder can increase daily gain, feed intake and feed efficiency. After the same amount of fermented feed B and fermented feed C replaced fattening pigs’ diet: corn and bran / sub-powder,the amount of E.coli in pig feces was reduced, the number of lactic acid bacteria was increased, and the intestinal health of pigs were improved. And fermented feed replacing cardamoml,corn,bran/sub-powder could improve the economic benefits of fattening pigs. The experimental results of this paper have certain practical significance and a certain guiding effect on actual production. |
