A new mulberry variety "1208" with high quality and characteristic fruit and leaf dual-use was bred by cross breeding.The efficient cultivation techniques of "1208" were also studied.The results showed that:(1)the suitable planting density of "1208" was 200-300 trees per mu,and if both fruit and leaf were used together,the density of mulberry in greenhouse needed to be thinner.The planting density of 150-250 plants in mu was suitable to obtain higher mulberry yield and mulberry quality.(2)Organic fertilizer was better than inorganic fertilizer in fertilization management of "1208",which was conducive to the growth and development of mulberry fruits.It could obviously increase the yield of mulberry fruits,reduce the fruit drop,and improve the quality and economic benefits of mulberry fruits.The benefits can reach more than 11,000 yuan per mu.However,the inorganic fertilizer,such as urea alone had little effect on mulberry varieties for the purpose of harvesting mulberry fruits.(3)Through the indoor bacteriostasis test,the bacteriostasis effect of 40%thiophanate-methyl suspension was better than that of 50%carbendazim suspension,and the higher the concentration,the better the effect.According to the field investigation,the control effect of 40%thiophanate methyl suspension 1000 times solution on mulberry sclerotinia disease was the best,and the control efficiency reached 99.80%.(4)The mulberry yield increased by 10%-15%,the commodity rate of mulberry fruit increased by more than 15%,the management efficiency improved by 1/4,and the output value increased by about 2,000 yuan per 667m2.The economic benefit was remarkable,and it was benificial to promote the mechanical harvesting technology and reduce the difficulty of tourists' harvesting.(5)Using greenhouse to cultivate fruit mulberry has obvious effect of warming and heat preservation.In January to February,the cumulative temperature of low greenhouse was 52.98%higher than that of outside.And the cumulative temperature of high greenhouse was 44.14%higher than that of outside greenhouse,which avoided the influence of late spring cold on the cultivation of fruit mulberry "1208" in Liyang.At the same time,the control effect of mulberry sclerotinia in greenhouse was 5.60-9.25%higher than that of outside greenhouse,and the maturity period of mulberry in greenhouse was 10-15 days earlier than that outside greenhouse.Therefore,the market of mulberry in greenhouse was earlier,the economic benefit was obvious.(6)The effects of different winter pruning methods on the economic characteristics of "1208" mulberry were also studied.The results showed that the number of fruit and soluble solids content of extremely light pruning were significantly higher than that of heavy pruning.The results of comprehensive evaluation by membership function value method also showed that the average membership function value of extreme light shear after defoliationwas the highest.Therefore,in the management of "1208",winter pruning should not be too heavy,and very light pruning should be appropriate,the best time for winter pruning was from just deciduous to 10 days after deciduous mulberry.
