The development of forest insurance can guarantee the sustainable development and transfer the management risk of forestry that is one of the important basic industries in China,which is of great significance to the development of modern forestry.In this paper,from the perspective of forest insurance effective demand,based on 10 sample counties in Liaoning province 365 surveyed families of monitoring data of collective forest right system reform in five years,using Logistic regression model and clustering analysis model,explore the factors affecting the effective demand of farmers of forest insurance,and insurance will strongly group characteristics of the farmers.Through theoretical analysis and empirical research,the following conclusions(1)the woodland area,whether the family suffered disasters,whether in the forest insurance,to forest insurance premiums are satisfied,the family current forestry production management expenditure,total household income is significant impression of forest insurance demand.(2)There are two obvious characteristics on the peasant household who have a higher demand of forest insurance.First,the people who have participated the forest insurance and are satisfied with its current premium.Second,the people who have participated forest insurance,and their forestland has suffered from disasters,and they have a high expenditure of family forestry production and management.Finally,in the light of the research,the following policy suggestions could be offered,which are enhancing the propaganda and subsidies,extending the insurance products,and focusing on the promotion towards fixed features’ peasant household.
