Ecological Suitability Study Of Magnolia Biloba In China

The common Chinese medicine Magnoila Officinalis comes from the trunk bark,root bark and branch bark of Magnolia officinalis Rehd.et Wils.or Magnolia officinalis Rehd.et Wils.var.biloba Rehd.et Wils.The main producing areas and adaptability of Magnolia Officinalis and Magnolia Biloba are different.In this study,we investigate the resources of 49 samples of Magnolia Biloba in China,collect the samples and measured the geographic location parameters.HPLC is used to determine the content of magnolol and honokiol;Maxent is used to simulate the Eco-environmental factors affecting the growth of Magnolia Biloba;GIS is used to regionalize the growth suitability,quality suitability and ecological suitability of Magnolia Biloba.Objective to determine the suitable planting area and provide theoretical basis for the standardized planting of Magnolia Biloba.The research results are as follows.49 samples of Magnolia Biloba originated from Hubei,Sichuan,Shanxi,Anhui,Zhejiang,Fujian,Hunan,Jiangxi,Guangdong,Guangxi,Guizhou.The longitude range is 103.3761°~120.2667°,the latitude range is 24.3898°~32.8447° and the altitude range is 194m~1828m.The magnolol content ranges from 1.35%~4.86% and the honokiol content ranges from 0.18%~2.98%.The growth suitability zoning of Magnolia Biloba was carried out based on the habitat suitability vaule,the ecological factors affecting the growth of Magnolia Biloba are April precipitation,November precipitation,Isotherm,Coldest month mimimum temperature.The precipitation in April ranged from 130 to 272 mm,the precipitation in Novermber ranged from 51 to 83 mm,the isotherm ranged from 23 to 26 degrees,and the lowest temperature in the coldest month ranged from-44 to-6 degrees,which are more suitable for the growth of Magnolia Officinails.It is suitable for the growth of Magnolia Biloba in southwestern Hunan,central Jiangxi,western Zhejiang,northwestern Guangxi and western Anhui.The quality suitability zoning of Magnolia Biloba was carried out based on the content of magnolol,the ecological factors affecting the quality of Magnolia Biloba are November precipitation,Slope,Average temperature in the wettest season,Vegetation type.The precipitation in Novermber ranged from 58 to 83 mm,the Slope ranged from 2 to 19 degrees,the Average temperature in the wettest season ranged from 20 to 25 degrees,the subtropical deciduous broad-leaved forest and evergreen broad-leaved forest are suitable ecological environment for the quality of Magnolia officinalis.The quality of Magnolia Biloba is the best in southern Zhejiang,southern Yunnan,western Anhui,western Jiangxi,northern Guangxi and northwestern Hunan.The ecological suitability zoning of Magnolia Biloba is obtained by superimposing the growth suitability zoning and the quality suitability zoning.Southwest of Zhejiang,Southwest of Anhui,East of Hubei are the most suitable places for large-scale planting of Magnolia Biloba.
