Research On The Influence Of TPP On Chinese Forest Products Trade

With the development of the Asia Pacific economy,the trend of economic integration in the Asia Pacific region is becoming more and more clear,and regional FTA is constantly emerging.TPP,as an important measure for the United States to return to the Asia Pacific region,has the characteristics of large span,high standard and large scale of economy.Once the implementation of TPP will have an important impact on the global trade pattern and China's foreign trade and economic development.This paper using the method of literature review,descriptive statistics,general equilibrium analysis and empirical model and other methods to analysis the influence of TPP on China macroeconomic and forest products,under the background of rapid development of regional economic cooperation.Analysis results show,China's foreign trade of forest products has maintained steady development in recent years,especially export trade.TPP member countries has been an important trading partner of China's forest products,and the United States and Japan are the main forest products trade countries.The implementation of TPP will have a negative impact on China's economic growth,but it will improve the welfare level and promote the development of China's forest products foreign trade.Bilateral GDP,export scale and forestry output will have a positive impact on China's foreign trade of forest products,and tariffs,forest area,foreign direct investment will have a negative impact.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions on the impact of TPP on China's forestry industry.
