| Taking seeds and seedlings of 10 families of Fujian Jianou(FJ-JO)provenance,6families of Guangdong Shixing(GD-SX)provenance,3 families of Jiangxi Xinfeng(JX-XF)provenance,1 family of Jiangxi Dayu(JX-DY)provenance,2 families of Jiangxi Quannan(JX-QN)provenance of Euscaphis konishii as research objects,measuring the length,width,seed shape coefficient,seedling height,ground diameter,growth rhythm,leaf morphology and photosynthetic characteristics of seeds.Using the method of variance analysis,correlation analysis,principal component analysis,Logistic and calculating relevant indicators,studying the seed quality differences and the variation of the seedlings growth among provenances and families,to provide a basis for choosing improved variety of Euscaphis konishii.The results showed that:(1)Seed length,width,1000-grain weight and germination rate were significantly different among provenances and families.Seed morphology was stable,liked a ball;Seed germination rate was generally low,three families with relatively high germination rate were FJ-JO-014(44.0 %),FJ-JO-027(36.3 %)and GD-SX-008(30.3 %),and the correlation between seed germination rate and seed length,width,seed shape coefficient and1000-grain weight were not significant.(2)The growth rhythm of the two-year-old seedlings of Euscaphis konishii can be divided into two types: "S" type and "double S" type in families.The growth rhythm of the two-year-old seedlings was "double S" type in provenances.The growth stages of the "double S" type seedlings can be divided into: pre-growth stage,fast-growing stage I,transitional stage,fast-growing stage II,late growth stage,and fast-growing stage I of provenances was from the beginning of April to the end of May,and fast-growing stage II was from early July to early September;some families were “S”type,which growth periods were divided into: pre-growth period,fast-growing period,and late growth period,and the fast-growing period is after the end of April,the duration varied from family to family.The two types can be fitted by Logistic.(3)There were significant differences in the morphology of top leaf,side leaf and pinnate leaf of different provenances/families,and the variation of leaf morphology in families was greater than that among provenances.There was a significant positive correlation between the width of the top leaf and the width of the side leaf,and a significant negative correlation with the aspect ratio of the side leaf.The area of the top leaf was significantly positively correlated with the width of the side leaf,and was significantly negatively correlated with the aspect ratio of the side leaf.The correlation between morphological indicators was not significant.(4)The diurnal variation trend of photosynthetic index among provenances and families was similar.Daily variation of Pn showed an asymmetrical “single-peak curve”and reached a high peak around 12:00 in one day.The degree of correlation between leaf SPAD value and photosynthetic index was low.(5)The variation of seed quality,seedling growth,leaf morphology and leaf SPAD value among families of Euscaphis konishii were higher than those among provenances.Therefore,the selection of Euscaphis konishii should be based on the single plant selection.(6)The top six excellent families in the 22 families are:JX-QN-002 > JX-QN-004 >JX-XF-011 > FJ-JO-032 > FJ-JO-001 > JX-DY-003。... |
