As an important forest resource,bamboo has the characteristics of short growth period,strong fertility,and sustainable cultivation.The bamboo itself has good elasticity and toughness and excellent mechanical properties.It has been used in civilians and light.Industry,construction and other industries have been widely used.Today,with the decreasing forest resources and the increasing human demand,bamboo has received more and more attention.With bamboo and wood,bamboo and wood will be an important direction for the sustainable management of forest resources in the 21st century.However,at present,the method of harvesting bamboo in China is still traditional artificial knife cutting or oil saw cutting.With the rising labor cost and the low efficiency of manual cutting,it has hindered the large-scale exploitation and utilization of bamboo.Looking at the world,since bamboo resources are mostly distributed in the southern regions of China and developing countries in South Asia and Southeast Asia,there are few reports on this issue in the world.Therefore,it is valuable to design a high-efficiency bamboo harvesting machine that can self-propelled in the bamboo terrain with complex terrain.This paper discusses the current development status of self-propelled harvesting machines in China,and forecasts the development trend of future harvesting machines.Through the research on the growth environment and three-dimensional conditions of bamboo forest,the whole machine size and walking mode of the self-propelled bamboo harvester were determined.The main parameters and key components of the harvester were designed and laid out.Studying the composition and interlaminar fracture characteristics of bamboo,it is clear that bamboo as a biocomposite has strong anisotropy properties,high tensile strength in the grain direction,but shear strength.Relatively low.Through the analysis of the microstructure of bamboo,the characteristics of type ? interlaminar fracture toughness and type ? interlaminar fracture toughness are explained,which provides a theoretical basis for the cutting principle analysis of harvesters.On this basis,the cutting mode of the combined circular saw was determined,and the trajectory of the saw blade was analyzed.The cutting force and the cutting power were calculated and determined.The Solidworks software is used to design the cutting mechanism,propulsion mechanism and running mechanism of the self-propelled bamboo harvester,and the load on each component is analyzed and calculated,and the selection and parameters are determined accordingly.The three-dimensional modeling of the whole machine and each component is carried out.The calculation shows that the grounding specific pressure and driving stability of the harvesting machine meet the design requirements.The Adams software was used to simulate the dynamics of the cutting process of the harvester.By establishing a simplified model,applying constraints and setting various sawing parameters,the speed of the single circular saw,the blade diameter,the blade thickness,the niamber of teeth,the wall thickness of the bamboo,The influence of different parameters such as diameter on the cutting force,and the influence of the rotation speed of the three circular saws and the blade spacing on the cutting force is analyzed,and finally the cutting parameters are set.The static mechanical analysis of the cutting spindle was performed using ANSYS Workbench software.The static analysis and modal analysis of the engine mount were carried out to verify that the strength and stiffness meet the actual use requirements.The vibration of the engine mount during the harvester operation will not affect the harvester.The normal work has an impact.Finally,according to the simulation results,the key eomponents of the cutting spindle are optimized.By determining the design variables,determining the objective function,and determining the constraints,the program is written in MATLAB software to finally obtain the best results,making the spindle size more compact and ensuring the structure of the harvester.Reasonable,safe and efficient.
