Objective:The study used Bama minipigs as an experimental animal that it was introduced from Guangxi Bama Yao Autonomous County to determine the production performance of Bama minipigs produced in Xinjiang dry climate.Indicators to explore the production performance of Bama minipigs in Xinjiang,and fill in the gaps in the introduction of Bama minipigs in Xinjiang,provide new experimental data for the study of Bama minipigs,and provide theoretical basis for the introduction of Bama minipigs in Xinjiang.Methods: In this study,the production performance of Bama minipigs was determined.To understand the growth performance,reproductive performance,blood biochemical parameters,carcass traits and muscle quality of Bama minipigs in Xinjiang.Growth performance measurements include changes in body weight from birth to 60 days of Bama Xiang pigs.Reproductive performance include estrus cycle,pregnancy,litter size,birth weight,weaning weight,weaning survival rate;blood biochemical indicators include 60-day-old,90-day-old Bama minipig blood total bilirubin (TBIL),alanine aminotransferase (ALT),urea nitrogen (BUN),lactate dehydrogenase (LDH),total protein (TP),creatinine (CRE),alkaline phosphatase (AKP) content;carcass traits were measured at 6 months,8 months,14 The slaughter indicators such as the live weight,the weight of the cockroach,the slaughter rate,and the slaughtering index of the 8th-month-old castrated boar,such as lean meat rate,fat rate,bone rate,and bone to bone ratio.Meat quality traits include hydraulic,flesh color,shear strength,muscle amino acid composition,inosine content,and the like.Result: The Bama minipigs in Xinjiang were 0.542kg、1.505kg、3.230kg、4.091kg、6.320 kg at 1 day,13 days,30 days,37 days and 56 days,respectively;estrus cycle,pregnancy,litter size,birth weight,weaning weight,and weaning survival rate.The results were 19.21 d,118.5d,7.94,0.542 kg,4.12 kg,and 97.82%.The results showed that the average litter size decreased by 2.36 compared with the original farm in Guangxi,and the average birth weight increased by 0.078 kg.The remaining reproductive indicators were not obvious variety.The results of blood biochemical indicators showed that the difference of TP content in Bama minipigs at 60 days of age was extremely significant P<0.01),and the difference in BUN content was extremely significant (P<0.01).The difference of BUN content in 90-day-old Bama minipigs was extremely significant (P<0.01),the difference in LDH activity was significantly different (P<0.05),and the other biochemical indicators did not change significantly.Slaughter determination results the pre-slaughter live weight,sputum weight and slaughter rate of 6-month-old and 14-month-old minipigs were 8 kg,23.9 kg,and 62.89%,respectively;84.2 kg,53.6 kg,and 63.66%;before the slaughter of 8-month-old pigs The live weight,carcass weight,slaughter rate,lean meat rate,fat rate,bone rate,and bone to bone ratio were 43.5 kg,30.72 kg,70.62%,46.56%,29.9%,12.54%,and 6.1,respectively.The results of meat quality traits were hydraulic,flesh color and shear strength: 56.71%,72.5,9641.46 g at 14 months old,61.45% at 8 months,66,8702.04 g,and 59.28% at 7 months,72.1,5334.77 g.The total amino acid content and umami amino acid content of Bama minipigs at the age of 14 months were 18.9% and 8.56%,respectively.The inosine content of Bama minipigs at the age of eight months and eight months of age was 2.85 mg/g,3.81 mg/g,and 2.24 mg/g.Conclusion: The reproductive performance of the Bama minipig in Xinjiang did show much change.The result indicates that it is more suitable for the environmental climate of Xinjiang,and the growth performance of the Bama minipigs would be produced well in Xinjiang.The various physical properties of meat are the shearing,chewability is better,and the muscle amino acid content is higher,which has better carcass quality and muscle quality.The results can provide theoretical basis and reference basis for raising Bama minipigs in Xinjiang.
