Seedling matrix is an important component of intensive vegetable seedling, which is of great significance for ensuring large-scale production and quality of seedlings. At present, most of the seedling-raising substrates used in production are mainly composed of peat, but peat is a valuable non-renewable natural resource, which plays an important role in wetland environment and ecological balance. In order to solve this ecological problem,we continue to study the feasibility of the application of peat substitutes to reduce the dependence on peat.Mushroom residue is the waste left by the production of edible fungi. Most of the treatment methods are incineration and discarding, which cause great pollution to the environment. However, mushroom residue has stable physical and chemical properties after maturation and fermentation. In order to save peat and ensure seedling quality, mushroom mushroom residue was used to replace or partly replace peat as seedling matrix. The physical and chemi cal properties, seedling growth morphology and physiological changes of mushroom mushroom residue compound matrix were studied from the aspects of physiology and ecology and seedling quality during the growth of oriental melo seedlings, and the mushroom mushroom supplemented with Shenyang Agricultural University nutrient mother agent was emphatically studied.Effects of residue compounded with nutrient matrix on the quality of oriental melo seedlings. In the first stage, mushroom residue, peat a nd vermiculite were used as matrix materials to study the effects of different volume of mushroom residue compounded with peat and vermiculite on the quality of Muskmelon seedlings. The second stage was to study the effect of different quality nutriti onal mother agents(25g/pot plate,50g/pot plate,75g/pot plate)on the quality of Mu skm-elon seedlings, and to analyze the cost of mushroom dregs compounded nutritional matrix. The main results are as follows:1.The first stage of the experiment showed that the extracts of each compound matrix had no stress on the germination of melon seeds, and the germination indexes of individual treatment were significantly better than those of distilled water control. The results showed that T1,T2 and T4 had suitable physical and chemical properties, and they were significantly better than CK in the above and underground parts, seedling quality and physiological indexes of melon seedlings.2.The second stage experiment showed that the addition of nutrient mother agent in the compounded matrix of mushroom dregs had a positive effect on the growth of oriental melo seedlings.T1-75 and T4-50 have suitable physical and chemical properties, and their above-ground and below-ground indices, seedling quality and physiological indices are significantly superior to CKY or have no significant difference with CKY,especially for the root growth of melon seedlings, and can avoid the phenom enon of root retting in the use of traditional peat substrates. In addition, the nutrientscontained in them are enough to ensure the normal growth of melon seedlings.T1-75 and T4-50 can be used as the substrate of melon seedling cultivation and avoid the tedious irrigation of nutrient solution frequently.3.In order to understand the use cost of two kinds of oriental melo mushroom residue nutrient matrix, this paper analyzed the raw materials, freight, labor and ancillary value according to market value. The results showed that the cost of T1-75 was 22.71% lower than CKY single bag, which could completely replace peat. The cost of T4-50 is 32.82% lower than CKY single bag, which can partly replace peat and save peat consumption. To sum up,T1-75 and T4-50 mushroom residue compounded nutr-ient substrates can not only ensure the quality of melon seedlings, but also reduce the cost of Seedling Substrates and protect the ecological environment.
