With the development of agricultural modernization,field management and operation machinery is of great significance for promoting the stable development of modern agriculture in China.At present,there are many types of field management plant protection machinery in the domestic market,but most of them are towing type or large high ground self-propelled plant protection machines for large area crops in northern dry land,lacking of those adapted to special working environments such as muddy feet in the muddy waters of southern China and small plots.The development of the chassis structure of variable ground plant protection machine will help solve the technical bottleneck of rice,cotton,tobacco and other field crops during the process of spraying,fertilizing,pollination.Before this,the four-wheel steering plant protection chassis,with adjustable parameters,has been developed by the team.In the subsequent field experiments,it has been found that there are a series of practical problems such as the chassis tread,wheelbase and ground clearance.The three parameters are coordinated and adjustable,resulting in the problem that the height of the chassis from the ground can be adjusted when the track distance is not satisfied.Based on the chassis structure of the pre-trial production model,these were investigated that the pattern of field crop planting and the typical working conditions of the plant protection machine in southern China.According to the crops planting agronomic requirements in Hunan,the chassis structure of the last generation model is optimized according to the different planting spacing and the plant height at different growth stages.A plant protection machine chassis with adjustable chassis height,track,wheelbase,and four-wheel steering that satisfies different crops,different row spacings,and different periods of crop growth,different growth heights,etc.was designed.In accordance with the principle of overall coordination and configuration,the optimization parameters of the overall structure of the high clearance plant protection machine are determined,through the study of high ground clearance self-propelled chassis rack.With the structural optimization of key components such as wheelbase,wheelbase,ground clearance,upper frame,steering system and vertical axis and so on,the SolidWorks software to model 3D plant protection machine chassis,and the CAE technology to analyze and solve the dynamic and static performance of the key components in the chassis structure.the final structural parameters are determined by checking the theory calculation.At the same time,according to the overall optimized structure parameters,the dynamic characteristics model is built,and the stability and the performance of the whole machine are analyzed theoretically to verify whether the optimized chassis structure is in line with the requirements of the field operation.Finally,the chassis prototype is manufactured based on the design size of the whole machine.The field performance test was carried out on the prototype,and the performance test of the chassis,field operation speed,road transport speed,slip rate,slip angle,angle of tilting angle,and the performance of ridges were tested.The results show that the functional requirements and work performance of the chassis of variable ground plant protection machine meet the design requirements.
