Traditional crop, with the mode of intensive and meticulous farming, can easily lead to the decreasing of soil nutrient, land degradation, water and soil loss as well as sand and dust weather.Protective farming technique is one that resists drought and increases production, protects the environment as well as realizes sustainable development on the agriculture.Xinjiang Corps started earlier on the research of protective farming technique, but it promotes slowly because of a wide geographical area, large climate differences, technical problems and others. This research is aimed at the application and promotion problems of protective farming technique for Xinjiang Corps as well as its influencing factors,in order to provide countermeasures and suggestions for solving problems in the application and promotion. This research uses the method of combination between the theoretical and empirical analysis to analyze the current status of protective farming in typical areas and the main factors affecting the application promotion for the protective farming technique of Xinjiang Corps.Through looking up a large number of relevant literature and field research, the author formulated the research plan, designed two questionnaires facing the group staff as well as conducted researches on experts and technicians according to the existing problems and 17 influencing factors with preliminary determination. When dealing with the questionnaire of the group staff, the author uses Excel software to make data statistics on 108 valid questionnaires, and then the data was input the data into the SPSS software for multiple response analysis, concluding that it is 49.4% for the selected rate of the technology mastery from the farmer households,43.6% for the selected rate of proficiency degree of the technology,42.9% for the selected rate of operation quality,41.1% for the selected rate of whether the government had subsidies,38.8% for the selected rate of management measures from the government and group,38.4% for the selected rate of natural climate conditions and 37.5% for the selected rate of farmers’ ability to accept and master technology. All the above,on the aspect of the group staff, are the important considerations for the promotion and application of the protective farming techniques of the Xinjiang Corps. When analyzing the questionnaire data of 12 experts and technicians, the author uses AHP analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weighted value and obtains that it is 0.170 for the weighted value of natural condition;0.152 for the weighted value of management measures from the government and group;0.152 for the weighted value of the government subsidy;0.101 for the weighted value of the working quality;0.076 for the weighted value of employee’s ability to accept the technology;0.057 for the weighted value of the technology’s maturity and 0.050 for the weighted value of whether the government had subsidies. All the weighted value of the above factors are above 0.050 and they are the important factor for the experts and technicians to consider. The results show that the main influencing factors affecting the promotion and application of protective farming technology in Xinjiang Corps are: technical maturity, natural and climatic conditions, working quality, government subsidies, workers’ ability to accept technology, management measures from the government and group as well as others. Finally, based on the statistical content of the questionnaire and the analysis result of the influence factor, the author puts forward recommendations on the policy and technology for the promotion and application of protective farming technology in Xinjiang Corps.
