With the increasing recognition of the nutritional value of goat milk, the dairy goat industry is developing rapidly all over the world. In China,in recent years, number of dairy goats increased year by year with a high rate, dairy goat industry has become an important part of China dairy industry. However, there are some problems have to face in the development of this industry, especially in per goat milk yield and milk component and its stability, major gaps still exist compare with some developed countries. In order to improve animal health and promote production performance, various feed additives are widely used in animal husbandry. But many traditional chemicals additives have safety problems.Searching some safe green feed additives has become one of the hot topics in current research. Some natural medicinal plants and probiotics have activities of improving animal lactation and health. Therefore,in this study,3 medicine plants: Medulla tetrapanacis,Semen malvae, and Semen vaccariae(Low dose Medulla tetrapanacis: LT;High dose Medulla tetrapanacis: HT;Low dose Semen malvae: LM;Semen malvae: HM;Low dose Semen vaccariae: LV;High dose Semen vaccariae: HV),3 probiotic: Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Bacillus subtilis and Enterococcus faecalis were used as feed additives and the effect of these on lactation performance of Sannen goat mechanism was investigated as well as its mechanics.(1)There was no significant difference in feed intake among groups(P >0.05).(2)Milk yield of group HM and HV were higher than that of the control(P <0.05).(3)Milk in group LT,HT,LM,HM,LV and HV had significantly greater protein than in the control(P <0.05)on day 20 and 30,respectively.Milk lactose in group HM,LV and HV were greater on day 20(P <0.05).Greater milk lactose content(P <0.05)was noted in group HT,LM,HM,LV and HV compared with the control on day 30.(4)No significant differences were found in total protein, globulin, albumin and immunoglobulin(P >0.05)among all groups.(5)After 30 days of feeding, blood glucose of HV group increased. The serum estradiol concentration was higher(P <0.05)in goats of group HM and HV..(6)DMI in group SC and EF were higher than that in control(P <0.05).(7)Milk yield of group SC and EF were higher than that of the control(P <0.05).(8)Milk in mixed probiotics group had significantly greater milk fat(P <0.05);Milk protein in group SC,BS and mixed probiotics were greater(P <0.05);Greater milk lactose content(P <0.05)was noted in group SC and BS.(9)There were no differences of gut bacterial abundance and diversity were not significant among all groups after feeding probiotics(P >0.05)(10)In phylum level, contraction of Verrucomicrobia was observed in SC,BS,EF and Mixed groups compared with control, especially in EF group(P <0.05).In family level,Succinivibrionaceae in four treatment group were increased contrast with control(P <0.05).In genus level,Bacteroidales in all treatment groups were decreased and remarkable in EF(P <0.05).Christensenellaceae_R-7_group decreased in SC group, significantly(P <0.05).In addition,Escherichia-Shigellawas were lower than control and this was obvious in SC and BS groups(P <0.05).On the contrary, succinivibrio were increased in all groups. In conclude, dietary these medicine plants and probiotics supplement to dairy goat could impact milk yield and main components positively.Addition of these medicine plants could produce affect by increasing serum glucose level, regulate energy metabolism and increasing estrogen level. And these 3 probiotics affect goat lactation through increasing gut beneficial bacterium and decreasing harmful bacterium.
