The Exploration Of Intravenous Combined Anesthesia In Cynomolgus Monkey

This experiment studies the use of propofol or etomidate with lidocaine to anesthetize 8 Cynomolgus monkeys of different sex and age,record the multiple changes of their physiological indicators,and compare the common way of anesthetizing the monkeys such as using ketamine,Zoletil or isoflurane.The experiment cycle has the following 10 rounds:(1)propofol 10.0mg/kg i.v.(short time),(2)etomidate 1.2mg/kg i.v.(short time),(3)Zoletil 2.0mg/kg i.m.(short time),(4)ketamine 5.0mg/kg i.m.(short time),(5)propofol 10.0mg/kg,lidocaine 4.0mg/kg i.v.(short time),(6)etomidate 1.2mg/kg,idocaine 4.0mg/kg i.v.(short time),(7)Zoletil 4.0mg/kg i.m.(durative),(8)ketamine 5.0mg/kg i.m.induce,isoflurane 2% inhale(durative),(9)propofol 10.0mg/kg,lidocaine 4.0mg/kg i.v.induce,propofol 10.0mg/kg·h,lidocaine 4.0mg/kg·h i.v.(durative),(10)etomidate 1.2mg/kg,idocaine 4.0mg/kg i.v.induce,etomidate 2.4mg/kg·h,idocaine 4.0mg/kg·h i.v.(durative).After the data analysis,the following conclusions were drawn:(1)The main factors of leading to the changes of anesthetic effect and impact by the same anesthetic drugs and the same anesthetic method in different Cynomolgus monkeys are individual differences and physical condition,and the changes of the anesthetic drugs with intramuscular injection are bigger than the anesthetic drugs with intravenous injection.(2)The induction time of using propofol or etomidate is shorter than using ketamine or Zoletil inCynomolgus monkeysextremely,usually going into the stage of anesthesia after finishing the injection of the drugs.Moreover,the recovery time of only using propofol or etomidate inCynomolgus monkeys is also relatively fast,and become slightly longer after combining lidocaine.(3)The intravenous injection of propofol separately bring certain analgesic effect,but the duration is short.Combining lidocaine significantly improves the analgesic effect,and the durative of the analgesic effect is wonderful at durative anesthesia.(4)The sedative and muscle relaxant effects of using propofol or etomidate are significantly stronger than using ketamine or Zoletil,and with the nearly same degree of using isoflurane.
