| To provide theoretical and practical basis for application of inhalation anesthesia in clinical practice for Mongolian horses,the inhalation anesthesia and partial intravenous anesthesia(PIVA)were applied to Mongolian horses by isoflurane and combing with respectively.the effects of two kinds of anesthesia schemes on various indicators of the body was detected and evaluated the effects of anesthesia.Mongol horses were divided into two groups with six horses in each group.The Zoletil was performed to induced before anesthesia.The control group was given inhalation anesthesia by isoflurane alone and the experimental group was given isoflurane by inhalation anesthesia combined with butorphanol,then the Clinical indexes,blood gas and blood biochemical indexes were detected,meanwhile anesthesia effect was observed during anesthesia.The anesthesia time was 60mins.The results of clinical assessment indicated that biological reflex disappeared when the concentration of isoflurane was 4 percent in the control group,and disappeared when isoflurane concentration was 2.5 percent in the test group.With decreasing the efficacy concentration of butorphanol in vivo,biological reflex gradually recovered.Compared with the experimental group,the waking time is longer in the control group.Both groups had little effect on the circulatory system,while the control group had more effect on the respiratory systemThe blood gas test showed that the pH of the control group decreased significantly(p<0.05),while PCO2and HCO3-increased(p<0.05),furthermore the pH of the experimental group decreased,and PCO2and HCO3-increased slightly.Both groups presented temporary respiratory acidosis,but the former was more pronounced.The concentration of Na+,K+and Cl-were not affected in the two groups.The blood biochemical test showed that the serum levels of lactate,alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartic aminotransferase(AST)and alkaline phosphatase(ALP)were slightly increased.The serum of urea,creatinine and glucose were not changed obviously.Liver,kidney function and external stress had little effect in the two groups.The effect of surgical anesthesia confirmed that the concentration of isoflurane at 4percent can meet the requirements of surgical anesthesia in the control group.while the concentration of isoflurane was 2.5 percent in the experimental group,which could meet the anesthetic requirements of surgery.With decreasing the efficacy concentration of butorphanol in vivo,the animals experienced slight pain 30 minutes later.At this time,the anesthetic effect could be maintained by upregulating isoflurane concentration to 3 percent.Based on the evaluation of the above tests,the anesthetic effect of isoflurane inhalation anesthesia group is effect when the concentration of isoflurane is maintained at 4 percent,and the anesthetic effect partial intravenous anesthesia group is confirmed when isoflurane combined with butorphanol group at 2.5 percent to 3 percent.It is suggested that the Mongolian horse should be induced with Zoletil(1mg/kg)before anesthesia,and was maintained by isoflurane(2.5 percent to 3 percent),the butorphanol was used to analgesia at 3mg/kg. |
