As an important agricultural crop in Shandong Province,Winter jujube requires hand labor during the whole production process,which means there is high cost on labor in the Winter jujube planting gardens.This paper is based on quantities of reading,field surveys and inquiries of the practical needs,developing a self-propelled electronic chassis in Winter jujube planting gardens,which includes designs of the the mechanical structure of the chassis and the electronic control system.The research contents are mainly as follows:(1)The program on overall design of the self-propelled electronic chassis in Winter jujube planting gardens is presented after analyzing the working environment of Winter jujube planting gardens and the agronomy of Winter jujube and determining the performance of the self-propelled electronic chassis.(2)The specific selection is carried out according to the theorectical calculation result from matching the key parameters of the power system after analyzing the performance requirements of the self-propelled electric chassis.The performance simulation of the determined power system scheme is carried out using AVL CRUISE,showing that the matching scheme of the determined power system is qualified well.(3)According to the analysis of the working environment of the self-propelled electric chassis in Winter jujube planting gardens,the frame of the working chassis was determined and the specific scheme of the frame was consequently settled.After testing the main parameters of the crawler,the checking of the frame strength when it is driven around the turn or on bumpy roads.The results indicated that the maximum stress is less than the permissible stress,which means that the design meets the requirements.(4)The design of electric control system for self-propelled electric chassis of winter date garden is completed.Electric control system includes vehicle controller,DC brushless motor driver and wireless remote control,there into the DC brushless motor driver controls the left motor and right motor working according to the rotation speed and steering instruction of the vehicle controller.The vehicle controller receives and analyzes the signals which comes from the wireless remote control to control the DC brushless motor driver and monitor the operation state of the operation chassis,and reports it to the wireless remote control.The wireless remote control reads the driver’s intention,and sends control instructions to the vehicle controller,finally displays the operation status of the chassis on the LCD screen.(5)In order to confirm the feasibility of the design scheme,a prototype of the operating chassis was made and tested.The results show that the operating chassis has a high speed of 6.72km/h and a minimum pass diameter of 2740 mm.It could pass through a slope of 30% with a cruising range of 17.5km and a wireless remote control distance of 200 m,suggesting it meets the design requirements.
