Echium(Echium vulgare L.),the national flowers of Scottish,native to the Mediterranean Sea and Europe,later introduced to the Americas,in Xinjiang,China has wild.Echium,like sun light,don't like muggy and poor soil,strong resistance,few pests,is an excellent herbaceous flower.It has medical value for seed can extract oil,rich in many kinds of basic fatty acids;It has the ornamental value for the brightl colored flowers and long flowering;at the same time,the Echium can also be used as the honey source plant.It can be used as a kind of crop with high economic value for cultivation and breeding.Based on the characteristics of plant type and plant height of Echium and sunflower,the effects of different treatments on the biomass accumulation and physiological characters of plant roots,economic yield and dominance were systematically studied in this experiment.The aim is to provide theoretical basis and guidance for high yield and high efficiency cultivation of Echium and sunflower.Further determine the scientific and reasonable cultivation model,improve the economic yield of crops,promote the development of agricultural economy.The experiment was carried out in Jilin Agricultural University in May 2017.Repeat in 018.Five treatments(Echium: sunflower 2:2?2:4?2:6?6: 2?6: 4)and two blank controls(ck1 and ck2)were selected from the seeds of Echium and sunflower from the previous year.Are all triple repeats.The main results are as follows:1.In the aspect of biomass accumulation: the intercropping model of Echium and sunflower had an obvious effect on root of Echium.The treatment of 4: 2 had the best effect on the biomass accumulation of Echium,the treament of 6: 2 and 4: 2 had the best effect on the biomass accumulation of sunflower.2.In the aspect of root activity,both the root activity of Echium and sunflower reached the maximum at the peak flowering stage.Monoculture was the most unfavorable to root activity after peak flowering stage.3.In the aspect of physiological:1)The SOD of 4:2 in Echium roots was the highest in the treatments,and the activity of POD of 4:2 in sunflower root was the highest in the treatments.2)In the intercropping system,the MDA content in the roots of both sunflower and Echium increased gradually.6:2 treatment accelerated the accumulation of MDA in the roots of sunflower and Echium,and the cell membrane was seriously damaged.The content of MDA in the roots of sunflower and echium in 4:2 and 2:4 treatments were lower than that in the control treatment,and the cell membrane was less damaged3)The contents of soluble sugar and soluble protein in roots of Echium and sunflower began to accumulate at the beginning of flowering stage,and then decreased gradually after reaching the highest value at full flowering stage.The soluble protein increased significantly from seedling stage to early flowering stage,and the soluble sugar increased significantly from early flowering stage to full flowering stage.There was a positive correlation between them.4)Comprehensive analysis showed that 4:2 treatment was more favorable to increase the total nutrient content of the two crops under the intercropping system.4.The economic yield and advantage: compared with monoculture,increasing the proportion of sunflower could increase the economic yield of Echium,but when the capacity of sunflower was 3 times the capacity of Echium,the economic yield decreased,which was unfavorable to the economic output of Echium.With the increase of the capacity of Echium,the economic output of sunflower increased and the increase rate decreased.It can be inferred that the interspecific competition of Echium and sunflower under intercropping system is lower than that of intraspecific competition.4: 2 treatment is more favorable for the increase of economic yield of the two crops under intercropping system,and the overall economic output can be maximized.5.The results showed that POD,CAT activity was positively correlated with SOD content,soluble sugar content was positively correlated with soluble protein content,and SOD activity was positively correlated with soluble sugar content and soluble protein content in intercropping system,and that there was a positive correlation between soluble sugar content and soluble protein content in root system.The correlation coefficient between CAT activity and yield was 0.9956,and MDA was negatively correlated with other physiological indexes and economic yield.6.The results showed that CAT activity was positively correlated with SOD,soluble sugar content was positively correlated with soluble protein content,and CAT activity was positively correlated with SOD in the root system of the intercropping system,and there was a positive correlation between the soluble sugar content and the soluble protein content in the root system of the intercropping system.The maximum correlation coefficient between soluble protein content and yield in sunflower at full bloom was 0.9354,and MDA was negatively correlated with other physiological indexes and economic yield.7.Comprehensive analysis of 4:2 treatment is the most favorable for water and fertilizer absorption,growth and development of crop root system,which can maximize the benefit of intercropping system as a whole.
