In this study, the 4-year-old?chun mei?peach tree were used as materials.13C and 15N double labeling techniques were used to study the differences in photosynthetic products, nitrogen nutrient allocation and utilization, the fruit yield and quality between the“Y”shaped tree and the trunk shape. The purpose of this research is to provide a theoretical basis for the selection of suitable high-yield,high-yield trees for the northwest region. The results showed that:1.During fruit ripening, the leaf area index of“Y”shaped tree peach was greater than that of trunk. The length and thickness of the“Y”-shaped tree shoot were larger than the trunk shape, indicating that the Y-shaped tree had a greater growth than the trunk tree. The net photosynthetic rate?Pn?and stomatal conductance?Gs?of the“Y”-shaped peach trees were larger than that of the main trunk. The transpiration rates?Tr?and intercellular carbon dioxide concentrations?Ci?of the main peach-shaped leaves were larger than the“Y”-shape.2.The distribution pattern of 13C were also investigated of each organ from“Y”-shaped tree at the maturity stage of peach fruit:Leaf>Fruit>Leader branches>Coarse root>Trunk>New shoot>Biennial branches>Perennial branches>Fine root;main tree-shaped Distribution patterns of 13C in various organs:leaf>Coarse root>Trunk>New shoot>Biennial branches>Perennial branches>Fruit>Fine root.3.At the stage of fruit ripening, the Ndff%of different organs at different stages varied with the phenological period. The Ndff%of the new organs?new shoots, leaves, and fruits?of different trees showed a trend of increasing firstly and then decreasing, and the Ndff%of trunks was larger than“Y”-shape.The Ndff%of leaves, fruits and shoots of the two new organs in the middle of the tree is in a higher trend, and the Ndff%in the phloem and xylem of the trunk/main branch is relatively low.Ndff%of all organs in the“Y”-shape and trunk tree showed:Ndff%was highest in newly-grown organs, and Ndff%in roots was the lowest. The two organs with the highest 15N partition rate were leaves, while the 15N distribution rate of fine roots and perennial branches was lower. The distribution rate of 15N in two dendritic organs was greater than the 15N distribution rate in storage organs. The nitrogen utilization rate of 15N in“Y”-shaped tree-shaped plants was larger than that of main trunk, which was 10.89%and 8.28%,respectively.4.In the deciduous period, the organs with the highest allocation rates of 15N for both trees are thick roots, while the 15N distribution rates for perennial branches and fine roots are low.The distribution rate of 15N in two dendritic organs was less than the 15N distribution rate in storage organs. The nitrogen fertilizer utilization rate of 15N in the“Y”-shaped tree-shaped plant was less than the trunk shape, which was 11.79%and14.35%,respectively.5.There was no significant difference in the quality of the middle fruit of the two tree-shaped peach trees, however the fruit weight of the Y-shaped peach tree fruits in the whole tree was significantly higher than that of the trunk, but the fruit shape index was lower than that of the trunk shape. The yield per plant of the“Y”-shape was 2.05 times that of the trunk shape, but that of the trunk shape tree was 1.23 times that of the“Y”-shape.
