Trinexapac-ethyl is a widely used plant growth regulator. It is absorbed by the green part of the plant and acted on the plant growth site, thereby inhibiting cell growth, reducing internode elongation, controlling crop growth, and making the plant dwarf to achieve lodging resistance. It is often applied to cereal crops such as wheat and corn,as well as cash crops such as rapeseed and sugar cane. However, with the widespread use of trinexapac-ethyl in agricultural production, the environmental risks of non-target organisms will be increased. Therefore, the study on the toxicity of trinexapac-ethyl microemulsion to environmental biology is very important. In this paper,trinexapac-ethyl microemulsion chemical pesticides were used to test the acute toxicity of zebrafish, daphnia magna, selenastrum capricornutum, quail, silkworm, bee, earthworm, trichogramma and three non-target plants of wheat, cucumber and mung bean. The acute toxicity is classified according to the toxicity level, and the potential risks to the environment are evaluated. The main research results are as follows:1.The semi-static method is used.12% trinexapac-ethyl microemulsion is used as a test substance to configure different concentration groups, and it's used in acute toxicity tests of aquatic and terrestrial organisms. The true concentration of the aquatic biological drug solution is determined by high performance liquid chromatography. The test results show that the acute toxicity level of 12%trinexapac-ethyl microemulsion on seven species of zebrafish, daphnia magna, selenastrum capricornutum, quail, silkworm, bee, and earthworm is "low toxicity",and "moderate risk" on trichogramma.2.The acute toxicity experiment was conducted on mung bean, wheat and cucumber with 12% trinexapac-ethyl microemulsion. Each crop was designed with four concentration groups, and the germination rate, biomass and plant height of three non-target plants were observed and recorded. The test results show that the toxicity level of 12% trinexapac-ethyl microemulsion on non-target plants wheat, cucumber and mung bean is "low toxicity".
