Euphorbia fischeriana Steud Thymelaeaceae Stellera wich is a perennial herb.Euphorbia fischeriana Steud as a traditional Chinese herbal medicine records from the"Shen Nong’s herbal classic", has obvious curative effect in the clinical treatment ofSanjie, hydragogue method, pain, insecticidal, fungicidal, anticancer etc. RadixXtellerae Chamaejasmes extraction and separation of the chemical compounds havebetter activity mainly flavonoids, coumarins, volatile oils, terpenoids, lignans andcinnamic alcohol glycosides etc.The object of this study is the dried rhizome plant southwest plateau region ofStellera chamaejasme, the active components were studied in two aspects,antibacterial activity and LD50acute toxicity. Using Kunming mouse as experimentalanimal take Stellera chamaejasme80%ethanol extract and water was administered inStellera chamaejasme extract, test the acute toxicity of LD50and95%confidenceinterval; the use of pathogen bacteria Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichiacoli,S.choleraesuis, Haemophilus parasui Type4,Haemophilus parasui Type5,Haemophilus parasui Type13as tested strains, respectively, using80%ethanol andultrapure water as the solvent extraction of Stellera chamaejasme root, antibacterialactivity Stellera chamaejasme two different solvent extracts of the tested bacteriumwas tested by k-b.Experimental results indicate that: the extract of Stellera chamaejasme waterLD50=119.368g/kg,95%confidence interval,69.916to228.613,80%ethanol extractof compound LD50=146.729g/kg (Probit=0.50),95%confidence interval,111.501to215.454; the water extract of Stellera chamaejasme and80%ethanol extract of theantimicrobial activity of the compounds of Salmonella choleraesuis best, notsignificant the antibacterial activity of Haemophilus parasuis type4, Haemophilusparasui Type5, Haemophilus parasui Type13. Bacteriostatic ring compounds thehighest concentration of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Salmonellacholeraesuis diameter from Stellera chamaejasme water for15.10mm,13.22mm and 13.03mm; bacteriostatic ring compounds the highest concentration of Staphylococcusaureus, Escherichia coli and Salmonella choleraesuis diameter from Stellerachamaejasme80%ethanol for12.13mm,13.05mm and14.10mm.conclusion:Stellera chamaejasme water and alcoholand extraction belong totiny toxic level, which are safe in clinical application; Stellera chamaejasmeextraced through water and alcohol extract have an antibacterial effect onStaphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and S.c holeraesuis),while has no effect onHaemophilus parasui;Water extraction and pure extraction have a certain influence onthe biological activities of Stellera chamaejasme.
