Investigation And Evaluation Of Fragrant Plant Resources In Mt.Zi-Wei National Forest Park

Ziwei Mountain National Forest Park is rich in aromatic plants.In order to protect and utilize the aromatic plant resources scientifically and effectively in this park,the species and distribution of aromatic plants were investigated by field investigation,the comprehensive evaluation and garden application investigation of aromatic plants were carried out by using the analytic hierarchy process and the questionnaire survey,which providing suggestions for the promotion and garden application of aromatic plant resources in the park.The main results are as follows:1.In Ziwei Mountain National Forest Park,there were 238 species(including subspecies)belonging to 180 genera and 75 families of aromatic plants,which accounting for 23.8%of the total number of aromatic plants in China.Among them,5 families,9 genera and 9 species were gymnosperms,while 70 families,171 genera.and 229 species were angiosperms.There were 79 species of trees,accounting for 33.2%of all species;54 species of shrubs,accounting for 22.7%of all species;77 species of herbs,accounting for 32.4%of all species;28 species of li anas,accounting for 11.7%of all species,respectively.2.Roots,leaves,flowers,fruits and whole grass were the main aromatic parts of these 238 kinds of aromatic plants in the park.While aromatic compounds was the main component of aromatic oil for the remaining 233 species,the aromatic oil of 5 species were mainly composed of terpenoids.3.The application value of 238 aromatic plants in landscape architeeture was evaluated by AHP,and the evaluation model was established.According to the evaluation,the aromatic plants in Ziwei Mountain National Forest Park were divided into four grades:Grade Ⅰ,9 plants with high garden application value(>4);grade Ⅱ,64 plants with high garden application value(4-3.3);grade Ⅲ,73 plants with general garden application value(3.3～3);and grade Ⅳ,92 plants with low garden application value(<3).4.Application status of aromatic plants in Landscape Architecture,there are 15 kinds of aromatic plants with highest evaluation grades in Ziwei Mountain National Forest Park,such as Hypericum patulum,Rhododendron simsii etc,have been widely used in the garden and can be used as important resources for garden development.The aromatic plant species with higher garden application values,such as Machiluspauhoi,Litseacubeba etc,were less used in the garden.They were important backup resources for the application of the aromatic plant garden.The garden application values of Melia azedarach,Evodia rutaecarpa etc were low;they could be used as a potential resource for the development and utilization of aromatic plants in the future.
