Rice is the staple food of more than 65%of Chinese,,rice is extremely important under the increasing demand for food.Fragrant rice,commonly known as fragrant rice,is the best quality of rice.Because of its nutritional value and market demand,the price of fragrant rice is far higher than that of ordinary rice on the market.In recent years,with the rapid development of economy and the improvement of people's living standards,the demand for fragrant rice is increasing year by year.However,fragrant rice varieties have some shortcomings,such as low yield and strong regionality.Therefore,it is of great significance to increase the yield of fragrant rice and expand the cultivation area of fragrant rice for improving the market competitiveness of fragrant rice in China.In this study,field experiments were conducted at two experimental sites,and nitrogen and sulfur fertilization combinations with different application rates were set as treatments.The effects of different treatments of N1S2,N1S3,N2S1,N2S2,N2S3,N3S1,N3S2 and N3S3 on the growth,development,yield and yield components of fragrant rice were studied under four experimental conditions without fertilizer N1S1 as control.(1)In different combinations of N and S fertilizers,increasing S fertilizer(90kg/ha)could increase 1000-grain weight regardless of the level of N fertilizer application.Moreover,sulfur fertilizer application can reduce the increasing trend of effective panicles and the decreasing trend of 1000-grain weight caused by nitrogen fertilizer application.Nitrogen or sulphur application(45kg/ha)could increase the total number of grains per panicle of aromatic rice.(2)In the range of applying nitrogen fertilizer(90-180 kg/ha),the number of effective panicles and total grains per panicle of rice would be increased,and the seed setting rate and 1000-grain weight would be reduced.However,the application of sulfur fertilizer(45-90 kg/ha)could weaken the effect of nitrogen fertilizer.(3)Nitrogen fertilizer mainly affects the actual yield by affecting the total grains per panicle in yield components,sulfur fertilizer mainly affects the actual yield by affecting the 1000-grain weight in yield components,and Nitrogen-Sulfur interaction mainly affects the actual yield by affecting the number of effective panicles in yield components;single application of nitrogen fertilizer or sulfur fertilizer can increase the yield components by one of the factors.The yield of rice increased with the increase of nitrogen or sulfur fertilizer application,and the effect of yield increase tended to be gentle.(4)Among the combinations of N and S fertilization,N2S2(N fertilizer:90kg/ha;S fertilizer:45kg/ha)and N3S2(N fertilizer:180kg/ha;S fertilizer:45kg/ha)had the highest yields.In most cases,the yields of N3S2(N fertilizer:180kg/ha;S fertilizer:45kg/ha)were higher than those of N2S2(N fertilizer:90kg/ha;S fertilizer:45kg/ha).(5)Among the four experimental varieties(Huanghua Zhan;Nongxiang 32;Xiangwanxian 13;Xiangwanxian 17)in two experimental sites(Xiachuan Town,Taishan City,Guangdong Province;Tanwan Town,Chenxi County,Huaihua City,Hunan Province),the combination of fertilizer treatment N3S2(N fertilizer:180 kg/ha;S fertilizer:45 kg/ha)had the highest yield-increasing effect,while the combination of medium fertilizer treatment N2S2(N fertilizer:90 kg/ha;S fertilizer:45 kg/ha)had the highest yield-increasing effect.The benefit is the best.(6)Four varieties(Huang Huazhan,Nongxiang 32,Xiangwan 13 and Xiangwan 17)from two test sites(Xiachuan Town,Taishan City,Guangdong Province;Tanwan Town,Chenxi County,Huaihua City,Hunan Province)were tested in order of yield:Huang Huazhan,Xiangwan 13 and Xiangwanxian 17.Nongxiang 32;The yield of the four varieties in test point 2(Tanwan Town,Chenxi County,Huaihua City,Hunan Province)was in the order of Xiangwan 13>Huanghua Zhan>Xiangwan 17>Nongxiang 32.In summary,the effects of Main Agronomic traits,yield and yield components of four experimental varieties under different N and S fertilization combinations in two experimental sites were synthesized.No matter which fertilization combination treatment could achieve the effect of increasing yield The combination of N and S fertilizer treatment was N2S2(N fertilizer:90kg/ha;S fertilizer:45kg/ha).Among the four varieties tested in the two test sites with the highest comprehensive benefit,Huanghua in the first test site(Xiachuan Town,Taishan City,Guangdong Province)had the highest yield,while Xiangwan 13 in the second test site(Tanwan Town,Chenxi County,Huaihua City,Hunan Province)had the highest yield.
