Study On Chemical Constituents And Antioxidant Activity Of Taraxacum Mongolicum Root

Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazz which belongs to the Asteraceae pere nnial herbs,also called Dandelion,Taraxacum.It appeared for the first time in the history of Tang Bencao,and in the medical monograph,such as Compendium of Materia Medica,there are detailed records.As a medicinal plant,Taraxacum mongolicum has been highly valued in ancient and modern medical books.For example,it is introduced in Compendium of Materia Medica to treat female b reast swelling and sore.Modern medicine has also been confirmed by research Taraxacum mongolicum Hand.-Mazzhasawide range of pharmacological effects,s uch as protecting liver and gallbladder,strengthening stomach,antithrombotic,h ypoglycemia,anti-inflammation,anti-allergy,anti-oxidation,diuretic,bacteriostasi s,anti-tumor and so on.In this paper,the research progress on the chemical composition and pha rmacological action of dandelion at home and abroad in recent years is summa rized.Then the DPPH radical scavenging activity and Tyrosinase inhibitory activ ity are used as the guide.According to activity guide,Taraxacum was isolated f rom the methyl alcohol extract Taraxacum.Repeatedly using silica gel positive-phase column chromatography,ODS reversed-phase column chromatography and semi-preparative HPLCto isolate the methyl alcohol extract of the Taraxac um.Seventeen compounds were isolated from Taraxacum.And then the molecu lar structure of 4 compounds was identified by modern spectral analysis metho d,such as infrared spectroscopy,ultravioletspectroscopy,nuclear magnetic reson ance,mass spectrometry.
