Research On The Developing Countermeasures Of Health Management Of Traditional Chinese Medicine For The Elderly In The Context Of Aging

China is becoming an aging society.With the number of old people suffering from chronic diseases keeping increasing,household and societal medical burden remain growing.Under the circumstance of the promotion of Healthy China Strategy and the spread of the view of Comprehensive Health,the traditional medical model of centering on the treatment of diseases has not been able to meet the old people's demand,gradually being replaced by the view of focusing on health.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)is the precious of our traditional culture."Preventive treatment of disease" in Traditional Chinese Medicine asserts prevention first,which is very significant in preventing chronic diseases for elderly people.Health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine is the embodiment of the thinking of" Preventive treatment of disease“,and is a health management system with Chinese characteristics.Considering the current situation of aging,promoting health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine for elderly people can improve elderly people's condition,prevent chronic diseases,maintain their health,and reduce the burden of family and society.In 2007,the government started the health project of "Preventive treatment of disease“.After 10 years,with the great support of the government,a professional team has been built,the health project has penetrated into communities to serve the elderly,and old people have cared about their health more.However,for the sake of lacing experience,there are some flaws in our health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Old people's cognition and identification with health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine are not enough,the serving capability of health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine is insufficient,experts and financial support lacks,and supervision is absent,which limit the development of health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine.In order to solve the problems,firstly,the government should enlarge · the propaganda among the elderly,improving their cognition and identification;secondly,promote the serving capability of health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine,perfect the operating mechanism and the serving net,reinforce the personnel training and informatization construction,and encourage the private TCM hospitals to develop;thirdly,enlarge the financial support,set up a special fund,and enhance the supervision for health industry,especially for private TCM hospitals;finalIy,promote the establishment of the study of health management of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the research of it.
