Pediatrics,also called Xiaofangmai,Shaoxiao,Dumb subject,Young subject in ancient times,as a clinical subject,refer to the research on the growth of children and development,physiological and pathological,feeding practice and health care and the prevention,diagnosis,treatment of various diseases under the guidance of the theoretica system of traditional Chinese medicine.In ancient times,there was a statement,"It's better to treat a man than to treat a woman;it is better to treat a woman than to treat a child,"it can be seen that the difficulty of diagnosis and treatment of children is far greater than that of adults.The history of Pediatrics in China has a long history,as a clinical subject,the diagnosis is one of its important components.Meridian diagnostic methods of pediatrics include collaterals diagnostic method and the Cunkou pulse diagnostic method.The article is divided into seven parts.The first part,defines the related concepts,including pediatrics,meridian diagnostic methods(collaterals diagnostic method and the Cunkou pulse diagnostic method),ancient and literature research.The second part,introduces the characteristics of children,mainly from the aspects of physiology,pathology,diagnosis and treatment.Physiologically,the development of various organs in children is not complete,delicate and tender,Qi-blood,body fluid and other substances not full.Children,such as the newborn sun,are full of vitality,the internal organs,morphological structure,physiological functions and other aspects are developing rapidly,and the younger the age,the faster the development.Feverish perspiration in children is a special physiological phenomenon,closely related to the improvement of body functions,feverish perspiration has a certain amount of time,generally,it takes 32 days as a cycle,and it can end in 576 days,in the process of feverish perspiration,fever,sweating and pulse disorder will occur,which need to be differentiated from some of the diseases where the same symptoms occur.Pathologically,due to the physiological characteristics of children,it has been determined that the children's disease prevention and disease resistance are weak,easy to be virtual,easy to be real,easy to cold and easy to heat,the outside was injured by evil,the interior was injured by food,easiness of disease,and the condition progresses quickly,but its organs are in a stage of rapid development,their gas is light,easy to recover.In terms of diagnosis,for children,it is difficult to achieve the combination of four diagnostic methods.Pediatric emphasise observation,observation is simple and easy,and is the most commonly used of four diagnostic methods.In terms of Interrogation,because children can not talk or
