Objective:To study the chemical constituents and the antitumor activity in vitro of the aboveground part of the Caragana turfanensis(Krassn.)Kom.Method:The dry aboveground part of Coragana twfanensis(Krassn.)was extracted with 95%ethanol by heating reflux solvent,and the EtOH extract were partitioned with petroleum ether,ethyl acetate,and n-butanol,subsequently.The constituents isolated by silica gel column chromatography,reversed-phase silica gel column chromatography,HPLC,and identified structures by the spectral dataThe activities of EtOH extract and isolated compounds wereexamined by MTT method in A549 and Hela.Result:1).The EtOH extract showed the significant anticanceractivity against the above two cancer cell lines.2).11 compounds were yielded and the structures were identified as 4-'-O-Butein(I),?-sitosterol(?),cinnamic acid(?),3-methylkaempferol(IV),3-methoxylquercetin(?),lyoniresinol(VI),N-trans-caffeoyltyramine(?),carasiphenol A(?),Daucosterol(?),3-O-methyl kaempferol-7-O-?-D-glucoside(X),3-O-methyquercetinl-7-O-?-D-glucoside(XI).3).Allthe 11 compounds were isolated from this plant for the first time,and compound ?was firstly isolated from Caragana Fabr.4).The inhibitory effects of the compounds on A549 and Hela were determined by MTT assay,in which compound(?)and compound(X)had a significant inhibitory effect on A549 cells.
