The Clinical Observation Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding In The Treatment Of Epilepsy Partial Motor Seizure After Cerebral Infarction

Objective:This study,with the aim of observing the clinical efficacy of acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of epilepsy partial motor seizure after cerebral infarction,is to provide theoretical basis for acupoint catgut embedding in the treating epilepsy.Methods:The study selected patients meet the diagnostic criteria of epilepsy after cerebral infarction,the type of seizure is partial motor seizure.62 cases of patients were divided into treatment group and control group,under randomized method,31 people in each group.The control group was treated with oral valproate,treatment group treated with catgut implantation at Dazhu,Yaoqi and projection of intracranial lesions in the scalp on the basis of oral valproate.Catgut implantation was performed once every half month,and both groups were treated for 3 months.After treatment,the EEG scores,quality of life scores,monthly seizure frequency and the improvement rate of monthly seizure frequency were compared before and after treatment,and the curative effect of the two groups was evaluated.Results:1.In EEG scores,two group were lower than before treatment,there were significant differences between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.01),the reduction was more significant in the treatment group than in the control gruop,and there were statistical significance between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).2.In quality of life scores,two group were higher than before treatment,there was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.01),the increase was more significant in the treatment group than in the control gruop,and there was statistical significance between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).3.In the monthly seizure frequency,two group were lower than before treatment,there was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.01),the reduction was more significant in the treatment group than in the control gruop,and there was statistical significance between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).4.In the frequency of attack than before,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.10%and 80.65%in the control group.The rank sum test Z=-2.985.P=0.003<0.05.The difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.Catgut implantation with oral valproate and valproate alone have good clinical effect on partial motor seizures after cerebral infarction.2.The clinical effect of Catgut implantation with oral valproate in the treatment of epilepsy after cerebral infarction is better than that of oral valproate alone.3.Catgut implantation with oral valproate than valproate alone can improve the seizure frequency,EEG score and quality of life of patients.
