Objective:To evaluate the safety and clinical efficacy of He Zhu Drink in patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome)by observing its effects on total points of symptoms of Chinese medicine, glycated albumin and Insulin resistance index. Methods:Method of open non-random simultaneous control test,We Selected 64 patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood s tasis syndrome)were selected from the second affiliated hospital of Hei longjiang University of traditional Chinese medicine, and were divided i 'nto experimental group and control group, with a ratio of 1:1.Metformi n was used as the basic drug treatment, the treatment group then usde the He Zhu Drink. To observe the effects of He Zhu Drink on patient safety,on total points of symptoms of Chinese medicine, glycated albu min and Insulin resistance index, and evaluate the safety and clinical ef ficacy of He Zhu Drink in treating type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity an d blood stasis syndrome).Result:1.Security:In the course of the test, the subjects did not have serious adverse events.Occasionally, the patients developed symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort such as slight abdominal distension, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and nausea. It eased itself after several days without intervention and did not happen again. The test can be successfully completed.2.Influence on total points on symptoms of TCM:Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the total points of TCM symptoms between the two groups(P>0.05),it shows that the symptoms of Chinese medicine before treatment are comparable between two groups of patients. After treatment, compared with the control group, the total score of TCM symptoms in the experimental group was significantly reduced, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).It is shown that He Zhu drink can reduce the total score of TCM symptoms in patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome).3.Effects on Glycated.albumin:Before the treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups in glycoprotein(P>0.05),the results showed that the two groups of patients were comparable in pretreatment glycosylated albumin. After treatment, compared with the control group, the glycated albumin in the experimental group was significantly reduced, and the difference between the two was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that He Zhu drink can reduce the glycated albumin in patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome).4.Effects on insulin resistance index:Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in the insulin resistance index(P>0.05)between the two groups, indicating that the pre-treatment insulin resistance index was comparable between the two groups. After treatment, compared with the control group, the insulin resistance index of the experimental group was significantly reduced, and the difference between the two was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that He Zhu drink can reduce the insulin resistance index of patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome).Conclusion:1.The total score of TCM syndromes in patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome)can be reduced and improve the symptoms of Chinese medicine by using He Zhu Drink.2.Glycated albumin in patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome)can be reduced by He Zhu Drink.3.Insulin resistance index in patients with type 2 diabetes(phiegm turbidity and blood stasis syndrome)can be reduced by He Zhu Drink.4.The clinical trial of He Zhu Drink is safe and reliable.
