Objective:Through compare the clinical efficacy of the “transport needling”and the“routing acupuncture ”,to explore the clinical application of transport needling in the treatment of pain.Meanwhile,to further optimize the acupuncture treatment schedule of knee osteoarthritis, and improve the clinical efficacy of acupuncture. Methods:The 106 patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group by means of a randomized controlled trial, each group include 53 patients. Two groups of patients were treated by basic treatment during treatment. The evaluation was conducted by four times respectively, before the treatment, the 5th and10 th treatment and a month after treatment. And both interventions were conducted by using Visual analogue scale(VAS),Range of motion(ROM),Lysholm scale, and Likert scale. In the end, comparing the efficacy indexes between the two groups before and after treatment.Results:1.Baseline data:The age, gender, disease duration,BMI,X grade, disease region,VAS score, range of motion,Lyshlom score were compared with P>0.05,which showed the baseline of the two groups was consistent, and there was no significant difference.2.The effective rate was 94% in the experimental group and 96.1% in the control group. The two groups were tested by chi-square test(P>0.05).The markedly effective rate was 94% in the control group and 96.1% in the control group. The two groups were tested by chi-square test(P>0.05).The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups.3.Comparison in the groups:After the 5th treatment of the two group,VAS,ROM,Lysholm and Likert scores were significantly different compared with those before treatment(P<0.01).After the 10 th treatment, the evaluation was significantly different from that of the VAS,ROM,Lysholm and Likert scores after the 5th treatment(P<0.01).One month after the treatment, the evaluation was significantly different from that of ROM,Lysholm and Likert score after the 10 th treatment(P<0.05).In the control group,VAS were significantly altered(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in VAS score in the treatment group(P=0.617>0.05).4.Comparison between groups:Though assessed the VAS,ROM,Lysholm scale,Likert scale before the treatment, the 5th and 10 th treatment and a month after treatment, discovering there was a statistic significance(P<0.05)in the VAS,Likert scale after the 5th treatment.Meanwhile the Lysholm scale and ROM score of experimental group were almost the same with the control group. At the end of the course of treatment, the efficacy was compared between groups, the study find that the VAS score was statistically significant between the two groups(P < 0.05).Whereas,there was no significant difference in the indexes between groups after one month of treatment.5.Efficacy correlation: the patient's disease duration,BMI,X classification and Lysholm improvement rate were not significantly correlated(P>0.05),while the pretreatment VAS score and Lysholm improvement rate were significantly correlated(P<0.001).Conclusion:1.Both of the two groups can significantly improve the pain symptoms and signs of KOA patients and improve their daily activities.2.Through comparison of the two different therapies, the study confirmed that the treatment group was better than the control group in the assessment of VAS and Likert scores of patients with KOA.3.The markedly effective rate of transport needling on the treatment of KOA patients was higher than that of warm acupuncture therapy, and the effective rate was lower than that of warm acupuncture therapy, but there was no significant difference.4.The treatment plan has the characteristics of low cost, small trauma, high safety, quick effect and lasting effect, which is worth to be used for reference and promotion.
