Application Of Short Peptide Enteral Nutrition In Intestinal Preparation Of Colonoscope

PURPOSE: To investigate the feasibility of using short peptide enteral nutrition preparation(Shu Yijian)as a bowel preparation method prior to colonoscopy,and to evaluate whether it can be used as a selection method for pre-colonic bowel preparation.METHODS: Collected from September 2017 to April 2018 for gastrointestinal surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University,and 95 patients who were eligible for colonoscopy according to the study,the patients were randomly divided into experimental group 48 cases,and control group 47 cases according to the order of visits.Two days before colonoscopy,the experimental group was given oral administration of a cup of Shu Yijian instead of a normal diet,and they were fasted on the morning of the morning of the examination,and they had a solid diet at noon.The control group was given a semi-liquid diet 2 days before colonoscopy,and a liquid diet was given 1 day prior to colonoscopy,,at the 6th and 10 th of the morning of the colonoscope,each compound PEG electrolyte was scattered in 2 boxes of 2000 ml,and 11 o’clock Oral Simethicone 30 ml.During the examination,questions about subjective feelings of the examinee were asked,including overall satisfaction and adverse reactions(mainly abdominal distension,abdominal pain,nausea,and vomiting),and the bowel cleansing effect and colonoscopy results were observed in both groups.RESULTS: 1.Baseline data: There was no significant difference(P > 0.05)in the age,gender,and history of previous abdominal surgery between the two groups,which was comparable.2.Subjective feelings: The overall satisfaction of intestinal preparation in the experimental group accounted for 93.75%,which was higher than the 78.72% of the control group.Adverse reactions: 4.17% of patients in the experimental group had abdominal distension,which was lower than 19.15% in the control group;patients in the experimental group had no abdominal pain;3 patients in the control group had abdominal pain,accounting for 6.38%;patients with nausea in the experimental group accounted for 4.17% was lower than 12.77% in the control group;vomiting was 4.17% in the experimental group and was lower than 12.77% in the control group.The satisfaction of bowel preparation between the experimental group and the control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Intestinal cleansing effect: Intestinal cleansing effect of experimental group was 25.0% of grade I,which was lower than 63.83% of control group.The intestinal cleansing effect of experimental group was 43.75% of grade II,higher than 25.53% of control group.In the experimental group,the intestinal cleansing effect was 27.08% for grade III and 8.51% for the control group.The intestinal cleansing effect for the experimental group was 4.17% for grade IV and 2.13% for the control group.The passing rate of intestinal cleanliness in the experimental group(Grade I and II)was 68.75%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(89.36%).In the experimental group,30 persons who passed the intestinal cleansing ranged in age from 31 to 64 years old,and 3 people aged 65 years and over.In the two groups,the cleanliness of the intestine in the IV class was over 65 years old.There was a statistically significant difference in the passing rate of bowel cleansing between the two groups(P<0.05).4.Colonoscopy results: The detection rate of polyps in the experimental group was 18.75%,which was lower than that of the control group(21.28%).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).The detection rate of intestinal inflammatory diseases in the experimental group was 6.25%,which was lower than that in the control group(8.51%).The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The tumor detection rate in the experimental group was 14.58%,which was lower than that in the control group(19.15%).The difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).CONCLUSION: The intestinal clearance rate of bowel preparation for bowel preparations(Shu Yijian)was lower than that of compound polyethylene glycol electrolytes combined with simethicone,and the number of eligible persons was mostly concentrated in young and middle-aged people,the adverse reactions and overall satisfaction during the bowel preparation process were higher than that of compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder combined with simethicone,and it could provide enteral nutrition support for malnourished patients.Therefore,the short peptide enteral nutrition preparation(Shu Yijian)can provide a choice for young and middle-aged examiners who cannot receive laxative bowel cleansing.
