Objective: To observe the clinical effect of acupoint penetration combined with catgut embedding at acupoints in the treatment of urinary incontinence with renal qi incontinence. Methods: Sixty patients with urinary incontinence were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).The treatment group was treated with acupoint catgut embedding therapy and the control group was treated with general acupuncture therapy.2 weeks as a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment were taken. After treatment, the clinical efficacy,72-hour urinary incontinence times, maximum bladder urine volume, residual urine volume,I-QOL score and ICI-Q-SF score were statistically analyzed.Results:(1)The total effective rate was 90% in the treatment group and70% in the control group. The curative effect of the head penetration point combined with acupoint embedding group was obviously better than that of the ordinary acupuncture group, and there was statistical significance between the two groups(p< 0.05).(2)72 hours urinary incontinence times: in the treatment group and the control group, the number of urinary incontinence was significantly lower than that in the control group before and after treatment, with significant difference(p< 0.05),which indicated that the treatment methods of the two groups could improve the times of urinary incontinence. There was significant difference in the times of urinary incontinence between the two groups after treatment(p< 0.05),which indicated that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(3)Maximum urine volume: in the treatment group and the control group, the maximum urine volume increased significantly after treatment, with significant difference(p< 0.05),which indicated that the treatment of the two groups could improve the maximum urine volume of the patients. The maximum urine volume of the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that of the control group(p< 0.05),which indicated that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(4)Bladder residual urine volume: compared with the control group, the bladder residual urine volume in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(p< 0.05),which indicated that the treatment of the two groups could improve the residual bladder urine volume of the patients. There was a significant difference in the residual urine volume of bladder between the two groups after treatment(p< 0.05),which indicated that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(5)I-QOL score: compared with the control group before and after treatment, the I-QOL score of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(p< 0.05),which indicated that the treatment of the two groups could improve the quality of life of the patients with urinary incontinence. The I-QOL score of the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that of the control group(p < 0.05),which indicated that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(6)ICI-Q-SF score: compared with the control group, the ICI-Q-SF score of the treatment group and the control group was significantly lower than that of the control group before and after treatment, with significant difference(p< 0.05),which indicated that the treatment of the two groups could improve the ICI-Q-SF score of the patients. The ICI-Q-SF score of the two groups after treatment was significantly different from that of the control group(p< 0.05),which indicated that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. Conclusion: 1.Head penetration point combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy and ordinary acupuncture therapy are effective in the treatment of urinary incontinence with renal qi instability, but the total effective rate of head penetration point combined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy is better than that of ordinary acupuncture.2.The evaluation of the degree of urinary incontinence, the score of I-QOL,the score of ICI-Q-SF,the maximum urine volume and residual urine volume of bladder, the times of 72 h urinary incontinence and the clinical curative effect of acupoint catgut embedding therapy were improved, but the improvement of all the observation indexes of head penetration pointcombined with acupoint catgut embedding therapy was better than that of ordinary acupuncture therapy in the evaluation of urinary incontinence degree, the score of ICI-Q-SF,the maximum urine volume and residual urine volume of bladder, the number of urinary incontinence at 72 hours, and the improvement of the observation indexes of acupoint catgut embedding therapy.
