| Objective: Guided by the method of replenishing qi and nourishing yin,use Shenqi compound prescription to treat type 2 diabetes patients with deficiency of both qi and Yin Syndrome and without complications of diabetes mellitus.The effects of Shenqi compound prescription on TCM syndrome score,fasting blood glucose,Glycosylated Hemoglobin,blood lipid,whole blood C-reactive protein,TNF-alpha,MDA and AGEs in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients were observed.Methods: 44 cases of type 2 diabetes mellitus with deficiency of both Qi and Yin and without complications of diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into treatment group and control group according to 1:1.Four cases were removed and 40 cases were observed.Both groups were given lifestyle intervention(diet and exercise guidance for diabetes mellitus)and basic treatment.The control group was only treated with lifestyle intervention and basic treatment,not with traditional Chinese medicine intervention.The treatment group was treated with Shenqi Compound Modified Therapy on basic treatment for 12 weeks.The TCM syndrome score,fasting blood glucose,Glycosylated Hemoglobin,blood lipid(TC,TG,LDL-C)were observed before and after treatment.The changes of inflammation index(CRP,TNF-alpha),oxidative stress index(MDA,AGEs)and safety index were evaluated.Results: 1.General situation: The baseline data of each index before treatment were comparable(P > 0.05).2.Judgment of clinical efficacy: Statistical data show that the treatment group is effective in 18 cases,ineffective in 1 case,the total effective rate is 94%,the control group is effective in 14 cases,ineffective in 7 cases,the total effective rate is 66%,compared with the treatment group and the control group P< 0.05,the difference is statistically significant.3.Therapeutic indicators:(1)TCM syndrome integral: After treatment,the TCM syndrome integral of the treatment group and the control group decreased significantly(P<0.05),with significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05);(2)Blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin: The fasting blood sugar and glycosylated hemoglobin index of the treatment group and the control group decreased significantly(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);(3)Blood lipid: After treatment,the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the treatment group were significantly lower than those before treatment(*P<0.05),while the levels of TC,TG and LDL-C in the control group were not significantly lower than those before treatment(#P>0.05);there were significant differences between the two groups.(3)Inflammation index: TNF-a: After treatment,the level of TNF-a in the treatment group was significantly lower than that before treatment(* P<0.05).After treatment,the level of TNF-a in the control group was not significantly lower than that before treatment(#P>0.05).There was a significant difference between the two groups.CRP: After treatment,the CRP level in the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no difference between the two groups.There was statistical significance(P>0.05).(4)AGEs: After treatment,the level of AGEs in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).The level of AGEs in the control group did not decrease,but increased slightly compared with that before treatment.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P< 0.05);(5)MDA: After treatment,the level of MDA in the treatment group decreased significantly compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant.(P< 0.05),the level of MDA in the control group did not decrease,but increased slightly compared with that before treatment.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).4.Safety evaluation: There were no significant abnormalities in blood cell analysis,urine analysis,liver function and renal function tests before and after treatment in both groups.There were no obvious adverse reactions in both groups during the experiment,and the safety assessment was grade 1.CONCLUSION: After treatment with Shenqi compound prescription,TCM syndrome scores,fasting blood glucose,total glycosylated hemoglobin cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol,CRP,TNF-a,MDA and AGEs of type 2 diabetic patients with deficiency of both qi and Yin Syndrome were significantly improved,indicating that Shenqi compound prescription can improve the level of glucose and lipid metabolism,inflammation and oxidative stress,thereby blocking metabolism.Recalling and preventing diabetic macroangiopathy. |
