Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Hypomenorrhea Due To Kidney Deficiency And Liver Depression By Acupuncture And Medicine

Objective This topic uses the combination of acupuncture and medicine to treat the patients with hypomenorrhea of kidney deficiency and liver depression type.Observe the amount of menstruation,menstruation time,endometrial thickness and TCM syndromes of the patients before and after treatment,and explore the effectiveness and safety of the combination of acupuncture and medicine in the treatment of hypomenorrhea of kidney deficiency and liver depression type.Method Ninety patients with hypomenorrhea of kidney deficiency and liver depression were selected and randomly divided into three groups,30 cases in each group.(1)Acupuncture and medicine group: Yishen Shugan Decoction(instructor's experience prescription)combined with acupuncture treatment;(2)Acupuncture group: simple acupuncture treatment;(3)Western medicine group: Bujiale(estradiol valerate tablet)combined with progesterone sequential treatment,three groups were treated for three menstrual cycles,by observing the amount of menstruation before and after treatment,menstruation time,endometrial thickness and TCM syndrome score,to assess.Yishen Shugan Decoction(tutor's experience prescription)combined with acupuncture in the treatment of hypomenorrhea due to kidney deficiency and liver depression.Result 1.Comparisons of comprehensive curative effect: The total effective rates of the comprehensive curative effect of the acupuncture and medicine group,the acupuncture group and the western medicine group were 89.29%,75.86% and 77.78%,respectively.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the acupuncture group and the western medicine group(P > 0.05).2.Comparison of the effects of regulating menstruation: The total effective rates of regulating menstruation in the acupuncture group,the acupuncture group and the western medicine group were 92.86%,79.31% and 81.48%,respectively.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).There was no significant difference between the acupuncture group and the western medicine group(P > 0.05).3.Endometrial thickness comparison: after treatment,the endometrial thickness of each group can be increased appropriately,and there is a significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05);after treatment,there is no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.Comparison of single TCM syndromes before and after treatment: After treatment,all syndromes in the acupuncture group were improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05);in the acupuncture group,lumbosacral soreness,premenstrual breast distention,emotional depression or irritability,abdominal distention and pain were improved compared with those before treatment(P < 0.05),but the syndromes of dizziness,tinnitus,loss of libido and excessive nocturia in the western medicine group were not improved significantly(P > 0.05);The symptoms of pain,dizziness,tinnitus,decreased libido and nocturnal urine were better than those before treatment(P < 0.05),but the symptoms of premenstrual breast distention,emotional depression or irritability,abdominal distention and pain without definite location were not significantly improved(P > 0.05).5.Before and after treatment,the total scores of TCM syndromes were compared: after treatment,each group could reduce the total scores of TCM syndromes,and there were significant differences among groups(P < 0.05);after treatment,the acupuncture group was better than the acupuncture group and the western medicine group,with significant differences(P < 0.05);there was no significant difference between the acupuncture group and the western medicine group(P > 0.05).6.During the medication period,2 patients in the western medicine group had mild stomach discomfort and nausea,and 1 patient had mild chest tightness,and could still persist in completing the treatment.There were no adverse reactions in the acupuncture group and the acupuncture group,which was lower than that in the western medicine group(P < 0.05),indicating that the adverse reactions in the acupuncture group and the acupuncture group were less than those in the western medicine group(P < 0.05).7.Before and after treatment,routine blood,urine and stool tests,liver and kidney functions,electrocardiogram and color Doppler ultrasound of breast in each group showed no significant abnormalities(P > 0.05),indicating that the treatment methods in each group were safe.Conclusion Yishen Shugan Decoction combined with acupuncture can improve menstrual volume,prolong menstrual period,properly thicken endometrium,significantly improve clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,clinical application is safe and effective,without toxic side effects.
