Objective: To observe the curative effect of modified Maxing Shigan Decoction combined with azithromycin on children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia of phlegm-heat closed lung type.To study whether integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment can control the disease more quickly and effectively, reduce the pain of children, and provide the basis for the development of hospital preparations. Methods: 60 children with mycoplasma pneumonia due to phlegm-heat occlusion were randomly divided into control group and experimental group. The control group was treated with azithromycin, and the children were given antipyretic, rehydration and other symptomatic treatment according to the changes of their condition. The experimental group was treated with phlegm-heat prescription on the basis of the control group. The changes of symptoms, individual scores and disappearance time of fever, cough and lung rale were observed before treatment,3 days after treatment,7 days after treatment and 14 days after treatment.Statistical analysis was carried out to analyze the differences.Result:(1)Total score of symptoms: After 3,7 and 14 days of treatment, there were significant differences in total score of symptoms between the two groups(P<0.05).The results showed that after 3,7 and 14 days of treatment, the experimental group of phlegm-heat-blocking lung syndrome was superior to the control group of Western medicine alone in improving the overall condition.(2)Comparison of the scores of each main symptom: 1)After comparison, the scores of cough, diet and sleep after 3,7 and 14 days of treatment were found to be significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating that the experimental group was superior to the control group in improving cough symptoms, diet and sleep;2)sputum,fever,sleep after 3 days of treatment. The difference of pharyngeal red scores was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 3 days of treatment, the experimental group was better than the control group in fever abatement and improvement of pharyngeal red symptoms.(3)Comparing the disappearance time of symptoms: There were significant differences in the disappearance time of fever and cough between the two groups(P<0.01),but there was no significant difference in the disappearance time of lung rale(P>0.05).It shows that the experimental group can shorten the time of fever regression and cough disappearance compared with the control group.(4)Comparing the total curative effect: On the 14 th day, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).The marked cure rate of the experimental group was 90.0%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(70.0%).CONCLUSION: Modified Maxing Shigan Decoction combined with azithromycin is better than azithromycin alone in treating children with mycoplasma pneumonia with phlegm-heat and lung-closure syndrome. Both sides have advantages in shortening antipyretic time, relieving cough time, alleviating fever and cough symptoms.Among them, the symptoms of phlegm-heat prescription such as fever, cough, phlegm, pharynx red, spirit, diet and sleep were better than those of azithromycin alone.Especially in improving the symptoms of nocturnal intractable cough,Tanrefang still has obvious advantages after 14 days of treatment.
