Clinical Efficacy Research Of Three Hot Application Method In Tibetan Method

Research purpose: Hot application method is one of the five external therapies of traditional Tibetan medicine.It is a kind of therapy that applies medicine or other objects to the affected area or pain area.This technique is simple,economical,and has no danger.Therefore,this paper addresses salt application therapy,hot brick application method,and hot Horme application method,which are used most in daily life,to study the clinical efficacy and summarize the application of three kinds of hot application therapy in Tibetan medicine.During the author's internship at the Tibetan hospital of Qinghai Province,hot applications such as salt and Horme are practiced and they are effective.Hot brick application is also practiced in daily life,for cold related diseases,dyspepsia,and indigestion,specially this treatment has a special efficacy for the pain of baby weaning.Such method and specialties are discussed in detail in this paper.Traditional Tibetan medicine has many teachings about hot application method,but there are few or even less studies about salt application therapy,hot brick application method,and hot Horme application method,hence this paper purposes to confirm a new method.It also aims to increase the use of these three kinds of hot application methods.The research collects diseases that can be treated with three hot application methods.It also compares the efficacy of the three hot application methods.Additionally,the research gives more information for theory and practice of hot application therapy for future generations as reference.Some main purposes are as below: 1.The concept of three hot application methods and their applicability to certain diseases.2.How do three hot application methods help? 3.How to use three hot application methods.4.The history of three hot application methods.5.Comparison of hot application methods based on the clinical experience.Content and method of the research: Combining literature and clinical experience,clearly explain hot application methods and their efficacy.Taking the result of clinical experience in to practice,based on more than fifty book references,hot application methods of science of healing,salt application therapy,hot brick application method,and hot Horme application method,the concept and specialties of such three methods are discussed with arguments.The efficacy of the three hot application methods are specifically discussed along with method from science of healing.Find the benefit of salt application therapy,hot brick application method,and hot Horme application method.Compare the efficacy of three hot application methods,combining with current literature about hot application and more than one hundred eighty case studies,analyze the result of the studies and give a clear and convenient reference for future generation.What kind of illness are treatable with three hot application methods and which illnesses are not applicable with hot application method.Such data is clearly analyzed and stated.Research result: 1.Research result from existing literature.There are different arguments about salt application therapy,hot brick application method,and hot Horme application method in more than fifty Tibetan medicine books.Among them,Horme or Hor cauterization is a hot application method that experts discuss a lot.In conclusion,there are two arguments regarding Horme that it is a hot application therapy or take it as a cauterization,many resources,however,prove it as a hot application method rather than a cauterization.2.Research result from clinical experience.During the clinical experiment,discovered the commonality of illnesses that is treated with three hot application methods and compare which hot application method is more applicable for certain type of disease.The research used more than sixty case studies for each of the hot application methods and the analysis is stated in excel with detailed data.According to the research,for salt application therapy,25% patients are totally recovered from the treatment.65% patient also has clear improvement.7% patients have slight improvement and 3% patient has no improvement.Horme healed 28% of the patient and clear improvement for 62% of the patients.Slight improvement for 8% of the patient and zero improvement for 2% of the patients.Among the 60 patients of hot brick application group,rehabilitated patient covers 25% and 60% has obvious improvement.10% have slight improvement and 5% of the patients have zero improment.Conclusion Through literature review,this paper summarizes the knowledge of three hot application therapies found in various Tibetan literature and analyze their concepts and functions,to improve the mechanism of the three hot application therapies.In the aspect of clinical curative effect research,three kinds of hot application therapies are used to excavate and study the causes of diseases,compare the basic data of patients to determine the treatment of three kinds of hot application therapies,and analyze the therapeutic effect of three kinds of hot application therapies on a certain disease.
