Effect Of The Traditional Chinese Medicinie Decotion On CTGF In Patients With Chronic Renal Failure

Objective To observe the effects of the traditional Chinese medicine on serum CTGF and its therapeutic effect on chronic renal failure(CRF),in order to provide a theoretical basis and more effective treatment for chronic renal failure.Methods 90 patients with CRF were randomly divided into two groups.45 patients in treatment group were treated with integrated the traditional Chinese medicine decoction and western medicine;the other 45 patients in control group were treated with the twestern medicine.The blood urea nitrogen(BUN),serumcreatinine(SCr),hemoglobin,albumin,endogenous creatinine clearance rate(Ccr)were detected and the therapeutic effects were observed in both groups.Results 1.Comparison of serum CTGF levels between two groups: The levels of serum CTGF in the experimental group and the control group were not significantly different(P>0.05);the levels of serum CTGF in the experimental group and the control group were significantly different(P <0.05)Serum CTGF levels in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P <0.05).2.Comparison of renal function,blood routine,albumin before and after treatment between two groups:There were no significant differences in renal function,blood routine and albumin levels between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).There was obvious difference in renal function,blood routine and albumin levels between the experimented group after treatment(P<0.05).There was obvious difference in renal function,blood routine levels between the control group after treatment(P<0.05),but there was no obvious difference in albumin level(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the improvement of renal function,albumin and blood routine in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P <0.05).Conclusions 1.The traditional Chinese medicine decoction can significantly reduce CRF patients serum creatinine levels,improve renal function.2.The traditional Chinese medicine decoction can improve the hemoglobin and albumin level of patients with CRF,improve the survival state of patients.3.The traditional Chinese medicine decoction can significantly improve renal fibrosis,delay the progress of chronic renal failure,the mechanism may be related to reduce the excessive expression of CTGF.
