Elsholtzia bodinieri Vaniot(Labiatae)is an annual herbaceous plant distributed in Yunnan and western of Guizhou.As Yi and Lahu traditional medicine,it has been used to treat colds,fever,headache,pharyngitis,hepatitis embolism.Mosla chinensis Maxim belonging to the family Labiatae,grows Yunnan,Sichuang and Guizhou.It has been used to treat heat stroke,fever,cold and acute gastroenteritis.58 compounds,including 12 new compounds,were isolated from the above two medicinal plants,the compounds of E.bodinieri Vaniot were studied anti-H1N1 influenza in vitro activity.In addition,the anti-H1N1 influenza virus and anti-inflammatory activities of the crude extracts and monomer compounds of M.chinensis Maxim were studied.The first chapter introduces the characteristics of influenza virus and modern anti-influenza virus drugs.And reviews the literature on the research of traditional Chinese medicine against influenza in recent years,and summarizes the mechanism of action including anti-influenza virus active ingredients in compound Chinese medicine,single flavor Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine progress.We have studies the chemical constituents of E.bodinieri Vaniot,32 compounds have been isolated from the n-butanol phase of 70% acetone-water extracts of E.bodinieri,including 9 new compounds.The structure type involves oleanane-type triterpene glycosides.,Ursane-type triterpene glycosides,lignans and sesquiterpenes,including 26 triterpenoids(1-26),4 lignans(27-30),1 sesquiterpene(31),the new compounds were named bodiniosides B1-B9(1-9).In addition,the anti-H1N1 influenza viru activities of the isolated compounds were investigated,and found that compounds 2,5,11,17,20,21,and 23 had anti-H1N1 influenza virus activity at concentration of 100 ?mol/L.We conducted a preliminary study on the chemical constituents of M.chinensis Maxim,26 compounds,including 3 new compounds,isolated from the ethyl acetate segments of 70% acetone-water extract.The structure types of the compounds are flavonoids and phenolic acids.including 13 flavonoids(1-2,4-14),13 phenolic acids(3,15-26),the new compounds were named Acacetin 7-O-[?-D-apiofuransyl-(1'''?4'')]-?-D-xylopyranoside(1),Acacetin 7-O-[4'''-Oacetyl-?-D-apiofuransyl-(1'''?2'')]-6''-O-acetyl-?-D-glucoside(2),Dimethyl clinopodic acid C(3).In addition,we screened anti-H1N1 activity of the crude extract of M.chinensis and found that ethyl acetate and n-butanol had anti-H1N1 influenza activity;Preliminary screening of 20 compounds in M.chinensis revealed that compound 8 have certain anti-influenza virus activity.At the same time,we also conducted preliminary screening of anti-inflammatory activities,and found that petroleum ether phase,chloroform phase and ethyl acetate phase have anti-inflammatory activity in vitro,meanwhile,compounds 7,19,20,and 22 have certain anti-inflammatory activities.It laid the foundation for further research on the biological activity of the chemical constituents of M.chinensis.
