Objectives: Lichen planus(LP)is a chronic inflammatory skin disease. Its etiology is still not clear,Some scholars believe that the pathogenesis of LP may be related to matrix metalloproteinases(MMPs).Extracellular matrix metalloproteinase-inducing factor(EMMPRIN/CD147)is a transmembrane protein, which can induce the activation of MMPs,and play an important role in destroying extracellular matrix(ECM)and promoting tumor invasion and metastasis. However, the expression of CD147 in lichen planus lesions and its correlation with mmp-3 and mmp-7 have not been reported. In this study, the expression of CD147,mmp-3 and mmp-7 in lichen planus lesions was detected by immunohistochemistry and their correlation was analyzed,so as to further explore the significance of these three factors in lichen planus pathogenesis,so as to provide strong evidence for lichen planus pathogenesis research. Methods: Collect the affiliated hospital of Qingdao university dermatologist in March2017-March 2019 typical clinical manifestations and confirmed by histopathologic examination of skin tissue samples compressed moss 40 cases,at the same time to collect our cosmetic surgery to remove the normal skin tissue specimens from 30 cases as control group, two groups between age, gender, and there was no statistically significant difference of based site. The expressions of CD147,mmp-3 and mmp-7 in LP lesions and normal skin tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry. The staining conditions were observed under light microscope and analyzed by semi-quantitative method. The product of staining cell strength and percentage score of positive cells was used to determine the result.Later,SPSS24.0 software was used to calculate the difference between the two groups and the correlation between the three groups. Results: The CD147 positive staining of lichen planus tissues was mainly manifested as brown-yellow granules in epidermal basal layer, spinous layer, granular layer cell membrane and cytoplasm, while the normal control group showed no obvious coloring or superficial staining in epidermal basal layer, spinous layer and granular layer.Mmp-3positive staining in lichen planus tissues was mainly manifested as brown-yellow granules in the epidermal basal cytoplasm, while mmp-3 positive staining was also observed in the normal control group. The mmp-7 positive staining of lichen planus lesions showed brown-yellow granules in the cytoplasm and/or nuclei of the epidermal basal layer, the spinous layer and the granulosa layer. In the normal control group, the epidermal basal layer, the spinous layer and the granular layer were lightly stained or no obvious coloring. The expressions of CD147 and mmp-7 in lichen planus group were higher than those in normal control group, and the differences were statistically significant(Z=-3.267,-2.331,P<0.05).There was no significant difference in mmp-3 expression between the two groups(P>,0.05).Spearman correlation analysis showed that there was a positive correlation between mmp-7 and CD147 expression in lichous tissue(r=0.587,P<0.05),while there was no significant correlation between mmp-3 and mmp-7 and CD147.Conclusion:1?Mmp-7 and CD147 were both up-regulated and positively correlated in lichen planus lesions, suggesting that CD147 may be involved in the occurrence of disease by promoting the expression of mmp-7 in lichen planus.2 ?The expression of mmp-3 was up-regulated in LP lesions, the difference was not statistically significant, and the positive rate of mmp-3 expression was low, suggesting that it might not be significantly correlated with the incidence of LP.
