Effect Of Moxibustion On Invigorating Spleen And Stomach On Quality Of Life Of Patients With Advanced Gastric Cancer

Objective:By observing the effect of spleen-strengthening and stomach-moxibustion on the quality of life of patients with middle and advanced gastric cancer(spleen-stomach deficiency cold syndrome),the effective and safe nursing measures of traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)were sought to provide reference means and ways for improving the quality of life of patients.Methods:To observe the effect of moxibustion on spleen and stomach points on the quality of life of patients with advanced gastric cancer(spleen and stomach deficiency cold syndrome).Eighty-two patients with advanced gastric cancer(cold syndrome of deficiency of spleen and stomach)were randomly divided into routine treatment group and moxibustion group(41 patients in each group)from June 2019 to January2020,to influence the score of Quality of life,39 patients were excluded from the study,2 patients were discharged from the moxibustion group due to the improvement of their condition,and 39 patients were excluded.The routine treatment group was treated and nursed according to the diagnostic and therapeutic norms of gastric cancer.The moxibustion group,on the basis of the treatment of the control group,cooperated with the time of the method of filling the stomach and spleen with the Meridian flow,selected the acupoints for strengthening the spleen and stomach,and moxibustion was carried out at each acupoint for 15 minutes,14 consecutive days.Two groups of patients completed the general survey,KPS score,EORTC QLQ-C30 quality of life scale,EORTC QLQ-STO22 quality of life scale information collection after intervention according to the research program,the KPS score,EORTC QLQ-C30 and EORTC QLQ-STO22 were completed on the end of treatment.The data were analyzed by SPSS21.0 software,and the quality of life was evaluated by the change of the scale.Results:1.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in clinical data,KPS score,QLQ-C30 and QLQ-STO22 scores between the two groups(P>0.05).2.The KPS scores of the two groups were not significantly different from those before treatment(P> 0.05),and the KPS scores of the study group were significantly increased after moxibustion on spleen and stomach(P<0.05).3.The QLQ-C30 scale of quality of life(QLQ-C30)had no significant difference in the scores of economic hardship(P>0.05).The scores of tiredness,nausea and vomiting,pain,loss of appetite,insomnia and diarrhea decreased.The scores of functional area and General Health Status were significantly higher(P<0.05).4.QLQ-C30 quality of life scale group comparison,the routine treatment group before and after treatment,fatigue,insomnia,loss of appetite,economic difficulties,no significant difference(P>0.05).The scores of functional area and general health condition were increased,but the scores of nausea,vomiting,pain and diarrhea were decreased(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in economic hardship(P>0.05),the scores of functional area and general health condition increased,while those of fatigue,nausea and vomiting,pain,loss of appetite,insomnia and diarrhea decreased(P<0.05).5.QLQ-STO22 quality of life scale group after treatment,After treatment,there was no significant difference in body image and alopecia scores(P>0.05),but the scores of anxiety,reflux,eating restriction,taste and dysphagia decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.QLQ-STO22 quality of life scale group comparison,before and after treatment,there was no significant difference in the scores of dysphagia,limited eating,anxiety,taste,body image and alopecia between the two groups(P>0.05),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in body image and Alopecia Score(P>0.05),dysphagia,reflux,eating restriction,anxiety and taste score decreased(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Invigorating the spleen and stomach moxibustion can alleviate the symptoms of fatigue,anxiety,nausea and vomiting,pain,insomnia,loss of appetite,diarrhea,and improve the quality of life of the patients with gastric cancer(spleen stomach deficiency cold syndrome).2.The results of this study showed that spleen-strengthening and stomachmoxibustion had no obvious adverse reaction and was safe enough to be used in clinic.
