To Observe The Efficacy Of Yiqi Jianpi Qingjie Decoction On Erosive Gastritis Caused By Spleen-stomach Qi Deficiency Basing On The Theory Of Stomach Carbuncle Treantment

[Objective]To observe the therapeutic effect of Yiqi Jianpi Qingjie Decoction(YJQD)on erosive gastritis caused by spleen-stomach qi deficiency,basing on the theory of stomach carbuncle treatment,in order to further reveal the relationship between spleen-stomach qi deficiency and stomach carbuncle,and to further demonstrate the efficacy of YJQD on this type of patients’ TCM symptoms,as well as on the stomach erosion.[Method]A randomized,controlled trial was conducted,86 patients with erosive gastritis caused by spleen-stomach qi deficiency were randomly divided into two groups,patients in the control group(n=43)received Xiangsha Liujun Decoction(XLD),and the intervention group(n=43)received YJQD(XLD plus Dandelion,Barbed Skullcap Herb and Rhizoma Coptidis).Therapeutic assessments were performed at the beginning and at the end of the treatment period,including endoscopic score of erosion,TCM symptoms score,and histological grade,as well as tongue and complexion index.[Results]1.Endoscopic score of erosion: Significant reduction was observed in both groups after treatment,and the score in YJQD group was significantly lower than that from the control group(P < 0.01).2.TCM symptoms score: Reduction was observed in both groups,as to the total and individual TCM symptoms.The scores of stomachache,acid reflux,poor appetite and fatigue in YJQD group were significantly lower than that from the control group(P <0.05).3.Histological grade: After treatment,all of the grades of chronic inflammation,activity,atrophy and intestinal metaplasia were reduced in the YJQD group;while reduction was only found in activity and atrophy in the control group(P < 0.05).4.Tongue and complexion index: Some parameters of tongue and complexion diagnosis was improved after treatment in both groups,among which the treatment group had better efficacy than the control group in face color L value and coating color A value(P < 0.05).[Conclusions]YJQD significantly reduced gastric mucosal erosion of chronic gastritis and improved TCM symptoms;And showed a trend of efficiency on the four histological features(chronic inflammation,activity,atrophy and intestinal metaplasia),and on the tongue and complexion index.
