Heidegger's Concept Of "Gewissen" And Its Ethical Implication

Currently' there are plenty of books decoding Heidegger's thought at home and aboard.However,researches specifically interpreting the concept of "Gewissen",especially the ethical implications of the concept,still need to be enriched.In the eyes of some scholars,Heidegger's thought changed a lot during the period.From the ontology to the language philosophy,the study of "Gewissen" is just a fleeting one in his early thought.And the discussions about it are all limited in the category of ontology.While in the view of some scholars,Heidegger's thought changed a lot in late stage,there are still many scholars who believe that Heidegger's thought has no heterogeneous and fracturing turn.In other words,Heidegger had always been seeking for a way out of this thought.This is not a way of denying the former,but a way pointing to the primary dwelling.Author believes that Heidegger already has ethics idea in his early thought.His horizon of ethics is beyond the idea of morality,but lies in the questioning of human primary dwelling."Gewissen" is exactly the bridge,which is built by his questioning between "Dasein" and "Dasein to be".It not only provides the possibility that human detach themselves from the world,but also connects the human,hearing and the language.Different with other philosophers,he digests the general sense of ethics,and creatively explains his idea on the basis of ontology and existential theory.By putting forward to the concepts of "Dasein","Gewissen" and the others,he views the truth thinking of existence as the thought about the beginning of human being,and gives it ethical implication.Heidegger believes that "Dasein"(human being)exists in the world as a state of"Verfallen".And the conscience,in Heidegger's saying "Gewissen",has the function of retrieving.The direct result of retrieving is making a decision and returning in the backing road.Although Heidegger combines the language and ontology in his later research,he still tries to solve the problem of existence.As an original expression of Heidegger,"Dasein"means "people at here",which is bound to associate with ethics.What's more,the ethics of Heidegger means more than that in the modern world,as a term of discipline.In a large scale,Heidegger's preliminary discussion of "Gewissen" has been initially sketched out its unique ethical dimension.He uses language as a way to return to this realm in his later research,which leads to the realm he never mentioned.Based on the considerations mentioned above,this thesis attempts to expound Heidegger's theory of "Gewissen" and related concepts.By comparing the forming,revealing and future generating of Heidegger's thought,we can disclose his apparently rejecting but actually accepting stance on the "ethics",thus make some contribution to the study of Heidegger's ethics.
