After Chopin's death, Szymanowski was developed Poland modern music as a composer in the 20 th century, although in the international status and the number of entries is far lower than that of Chopin, but many of his works has a high artistic value, which it has significant impact in the Polish music culture.Szymanowski's music works creative process can be divided into three different style characteristics periods. The first is Romantic period, the second is Impressionism period, and the third is Nationalist period. In the Impressionism period, he has many the advent of works during this time, it`s due to inspire and influence of the oriental music and the exotic music. In the final period, he mixed many style blend together to form a new national creation style for himself.The author analysed two Szymanowski's works, 0p.50 Nr.1 and Nr.2. Mazurka is representative of the Polish music, it is also a kind of folk dance.It is usually use a lively tempo, and the stress beats are generally placed on second or third beats. This novel is one of Szymanowski's later works, Nr.1 is relatively slow and has a strong folk music melody describing mood, showing his anxiety and painful emotions; Nr.2 is different with Nr.1, in contrast with lively staccato, music image is bright. The author will specifically discuss from the creation background, musical structure, tonality harmony theme, and the performance analysis.
