In the process of learning Chinese,foreigners always make all kinds of mistakes,and many scholars study these errors.One important aspect of error studying is verb-error studying.But most of these studies are according existing Chinese knowledge to analysis error,a few of them according errors to find the content that still is not studied by scholar.Analyzing incorrect sentences which are written by Ethiopia elementary students,we could find some verbs that are not studied before,and analyzing these verbs,to some extent,we could fill in the blank of research.There are three main aspects of verb errors.Firstly,learners do not understand the meaning of verbs.Secondly,they do not know the collocation of verbs.Lastly,they do not know which kind of syntactic component that verbs could mainly act as.Moreover,teachers explain knowledge not enough.Because of these reasons,the main types of verb errors are verb meaning error,collocation error and syntactic component error.And according the reasons and types of error,we could find some studying characters of Ethiopia elementary learners.For example,they depend on medium language strongly.Compared with Chinese noun,it is more difficult for them to grasp Chinese verbs.Different verbs have different levels of mastery.And according reasons and types of error and studying characters,we could know that if we want to give a success class of teaching Chinese as a second language,teachers must grasp enough Chinese language knowledge,use appropriate teaching techniques and methods to enhance the interest of knowledge and build a relaxing class atmosphere.Furthermore,teachers of teaching Chinese as a second language should have ability about studying Chinese and teaching to solve the problems and difficulties meeting in class.
