Studies On Narration Of Youth Films Of Taiwan

Films of Taiwan has a significant position in Chinese films.The theme of youth are often made films in movies of Taiwan.Throughout the history of the films of Taiwan,this is a noteworthy phenomenon.In view of the unique historical experience of Taiwan and the long-term exploration of the identity of the people of Taiwan,it's meaningful to have a study on the films of Taiwan and explore the reasons why the youth writing has appeared in the history of Taiwan's films.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the history of Taiwan's films,including a part of early movies of Taiwan which has youth elements,love stories adapted from Qiongyao's novels which dating from 60s to the end of 80s,movies about students' life made by Lin Qingjie and Xu Jinliang in the 70s,films combined personal grow-up with historical changes together made by Hsiao-HsienHou,Chen Kunhou and so on,and diversified development of youth films of Taiwan.The second chapter analyses the narration of grow-up of youth movies of Taiwan,mainly including 2 parts:beautiful but sad memories of grow-up;inspiring and growing up.And I take some films of Hsiao-HsienHou's as examples.The third chapter analyses narration of cruelty of youth films of Taiwan through specific examples.The forth chapter focuses on the perspective the narration of gender,including the perspectives of women and gay.And specific examples are took to introduce this theme.The fifth chapter mainly searches for the reasons why youth films are so popular in Taiwan.And I maybe find the reasons by talking about the influence of Japan and Taiwan's own historical and cultural reasons.This article introduces the history of Taiwan's youth movies and several narrations of Taiwan's youth movies,and explores the internal and external reasonswhyTaiwan's youth moviesrepeatedlyappearin Taiwan,related to the identity issues which people of Taiwan pursue repeatedly,Taiwan's efforts to get rid of the"Asia orphan" complex and the spirit to fighting.
