The author has chosen the live TV speech of Myanmar's Senior Minister Aung San Suu Kyi's speech on the issue of Rohingya people in Burma as a summary of the Simulated English-Chinese Simultaneous interpreting Practice Project.This Simulated E-C SI focuses on analyzing the difficulties encountered in Simultaneous interpreting and the corresponding solutions.The project aims to find out the author's own problems and deficiencies through the simulation practice report,and improve his practice ability and interpreting level by analyzing and summarizing the interpreting theories and skills she has learned.This report can be divided into four chapters besides introduction and conclusion: First of all,it is the task description,including the description of background information and task requirements.Second,the process description is described,including pre-interpreting preparation,interpreting process as well as the post-interpreting feedback and assessment.The background of the television speech,spokesman ' s background,proper noun preparation and related knowledge are introduced in pre-interpreting stage.The post-interpreting feedback includes the feedback of classmates and the author's personal reflection and assessment.Thirdly,the author analyzes the difficulties and problems encountered in the process of interpreting.The author mainly analyzesthe interpreting difficulties caused by the different syntactic structure of English and Chinese,such as misinterpretation and long sentences.Based on the theory of interpreting and oral techniques,the author puts forward the corresponding solutions under the guidance and suggestions of the instructor,including the principles of syntactic linearity and repetition.The fourth one is the summary.
